How come people can run for President or Vice President, the same year they run for Senator?

   Politicians legislate election rules and they make sure they are protected no matter how bad a job they do.!~!

   Legal holes.

   On the positive side it help qualified candidates have a chance to serve their country on a larger scale.

   On the negative side, it leads to appointment scandals and entitlement issues.
