Mitt Romney vs. Tim Pawlenty?
Pawlenty can help McCain get Minnesota (10 EV). He’s an evangelical himself and would make sense since the convention is in Minnesota.
But Romney can help get Michigan (17 EV) and he can raise a lot of money.
So who do you think McCain should pick as VP?
AND Romney can hurt the base because he’s a mormon.
probably Romney..but who knows? its a crazy world
Romney, sure to lose, that’s fine with me.
I would choose Romney. The “base”(Mike Huckabee) loves him and has moved past their mormon concern. Pawlenty would be a great choice to but I don’t believe he swings Minnesota. Plus Romney would give McCain some much needed economic credibility. I never really got the thing about his mormon religion. I think that was just a creation of Mike Huckabee.
Why are the republicans aganist mormons ? must be the same reasons they hate gays ,blacks, hispanics ,jews and anybody else not like them
After all the things Republicans have said about hating lawyers & not wanting lawyers to run the country that would be a NO for Pawlenty….Romeny is an airhead but he is mean spirited & I have seen him act like a lost boy in 6th grade. He called Obama a loser when in reality Obama was still in the Pres. race while Romney wasn’t. He has a whole bunch of sons & not one is in the military & he has made some comments about them doing their service for the country by helping with his campaign so that is going to be a bid deal. Biden has a son leaving for Iraq on Oct 3 so this just makes the republicans have to step up or look like fools. Neither one of this can work out. Who else do they have?
There are people like Huckabee that are making an issue out of Mitt’s religion and I as a christian would pick Mitt over Mike because even though he is a Rev.he is doing alot of talking about Mitt behind the scenes shame on Huckabee.Christianity is not a religion it is a life style and if they read the Bible the way your truly suppose to they might learn something instead of cherry picking what suits their agenda.Shame on them.
