Did not the sudden drop in consumption due to layoffs clue you in, lady? Businesses cannot make a profit if they have no customers. Businesses create customers by hiring employees and paying them wages high enough to afford the products the businesses create. Duh! When will they stop stabbing themselves in the back? Oh yeah! @vcdaniels Ayn Rand was such a hypocrite. She beleived in “free thought, free will”, but would tell others in her close circle what to do, and if not, she would ban them from her inner circle and smear them. I loved her books, but not her lifestyle, which was mired in hypocrisy.

It seems Ms. Radtke is living below minimum wage in the free intellect market. The Tea Party will not rest until every hard won workers right implemented in the last 100 years is revoked in favor of maximizing corporate profits. How can anyone take them seriously when the gap between rich and poor has never been greater at any point in our countries history?

Parasites often cause damage to the overall system they infest, purely out of a blind pursuit of their own self interest – with no regard for the very host system they destroy. That mirrors objectivism more than the “collectivists” it ridicules. When a group of leeches attack a host organism, they do not work in unison nor do they consider any interests but their own. Outrage, though an emotion, is not always born of irrational thought. When one sees a woman from another country who is sociopathic and promiscuous trying to tell them how they should run their society and then sees a bunch of that woman’s sycophants calling them “parasites”, to be outraged at the hypocrisy is quite logical. Especially when you consider that parasites spread disease – just like open marriages. Randians see the parasite in everyone else but not in themselves.
How about we set a MAXIMUM wage limit? Executives can’t make over X amount of dollars and the rest MUST go back into the company to hire more people?

Perhaps the reason you find these “ad hominem” attacks is because people are outraged that such a woman as Rand would DARE have the audacity to suggest to ANYONE how they should live their lives. You know, if a black woman lived even close to how Rand did, she would be considered – amongst blacks and whites as a “dime piece ho”. Minimum wage laws are there to prevent businesses from fixing wages (at a low rate) in any given market, as they did back in the 1890s. This woman is a dangerous imbecile. An archetypical Tea Bagger.
