They get payed by lending money to the US, because as they put it bankers make sure there is no fraud or corruption.
Personally I think its bullshit, and that a bankers are fraud and corruption personified, and that at least politicians are so much in the public eye, they would be held more accountable maybe… but right now its like Mortal Kombat, where you fight the big dude before the real boss.

@thesharkchick I love how conservatives have such a one-dimensional, linear way to define or categorize anything and everything they don’t agree with…i.e: “ALL TAXES=GOVERNMENT WASTE—ALL TAXES GO TO POOR PEOPLE—ALL POOR PEOPLE= ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS”…and other such crap. I think it’s safe to say that no one likes being 100% controlled (especially by the gov), but anyone who has the gall to say that teachers, policemen/women should pay more taxes than millionaires is just SICK IN THE BRAIN.
