Other than causing a credit downgrade what has the Tea Party done since gaining the House?

   The tea party, unlike the loser democraps, never controlled any house of the congress. Hardly honest to blame themn when you morons controlled the white house and both houses of congress for 2 years, but all you “accomplished” is the soon to be struck down obamacare.

    1) Obama lost jobs. As you can easily calculate based on the unemployment rate at the beginning of his term and comparing it to the unemployment rate now. His performance has been so terrible, You dont even need to add the ppl that have gone off unemployment and quit looking to see this obvious fact.
    2) Obama spending past the debt ceiling, downgraded our credit. Had there not been excessive spending there would not have been any debt ceiling debate to start with.

    Anything else I can help you with? You seem excessively stupid so I’m expecting that yes will be the answer

    You have it the other way around……during Obama and in specific for making a economical climate which companies downsized, small and large businesses laid off, the national credit downgrading was the direst result of adding to the national debt by $4.6 trillion = 33% OF THE DEBT BY Obama’s spending and now——over $60 trillion in unfunded in federal liabilities.( a 2nd downgrade is possible within the next 4 months ) and more people unemployed ( rate went as high as 10% ) and now 9.0% which Bush never experienced. Bush made a lot of things terrible, but to even suggest that Obama in many things didn’t make them worse is rendering yourself intentionally ignorant in an attempt to avoid dealing with facts.

    If they cut the budget by 1 trillion dollars we’ll have a lot more unemployment than we have now. Cutting spending is not the answer to everything, any more than cutting taxes is the answer to everything.

    Sent 20 jobs bills to the Senate and they refuse to look at them, Obama holds the record of firsts, NOT the Congress, get Obama out of the way and then we can go forward

    Wow.

    Folks, this is simplistic in the extreme.
    The credit agency said very clearly what made their choice for them.
    Go look at their analysis.
    “Standard & Poor’s downgraded the U.S.’s AAA credit rating for the first time, slamming the nation’s political process and criticizing lawmakers for failing to cut spending or raise revenue enough to reduce record budget deficits.”

    We spend too much, and don’t raise enough.
    One side wants to increase taxes, the other decrease spending.
    If it was a teenager, the solution would be simple.
    Stop taking money from family (taxes) and stop spending so much.

    There are two issues here.
    One is an enabling behavior. The Tea Party opposes the mentality of spend, spend, spend.
    We all see it.
    Enough of it.
    Enough blaming the Tea Party.
    All they did was tear up the credit card.

    Deal with it.

    HA HA. OBAMA has LOST jobs. This is now Obama’s economy. He had a super majority in both the House and the Senate, and did NOTHING.

    And the Tea Party was the only group proposing REAL SPENDING CUTS.

    And the Republicans in the House have proposed about 15 jobs bills that are currently sitting in the senate http://frontpagemag.com/2011/11/08/the-%E2%80%9Cforgotten-15%E2%80%9D-gop-jobs-bills/.

    And the Senate rejected Obama’s jobs bill.
