@FriendlyGeekClassics On top of all that, Prosser vastly outspent Kloppenburg thanks to generous campaign contributions from half a dozen, deep-pocketed PACS and groups. Prosser’s victory is a victory for the rich, not a victory for workers or the people. If campaign finance was reformed and Prosser could only spend what Kloppenburg could, there’s no doubt Kloppenburg would’ve won.
@FriendlyGeekClassics Yes, anti-union is far-right. William F. Buckley, probably the most important conservative and Republican of the 20th century considered unions an integral part of democracy and a necessary freedom. The fact that Republicans are now brazenly anti-union shows how far to the right they’ve moved. The Democrats have moved right as well. Democrats today are what moderate Republicans were 20-30 years ago.
@FriendlyGeekClassics Prosser is anti-union and will certainly vote against anything that might uphold the law against Walkers legislation. Also, it virtually never happens that a sitting Justice is voted out. Even if Prosser holds on to a win after the recount, the close race is a clear shot across the bow of the far-right pol’s.
