Rick Santorum was chosen to rebut the Obama speech to the AFL-CIO. Apparently they could not find an elected official that was not involved in a scandal so they chose former Senator Rick Santorum who lost his seat in a landslide 3 years ago
Rick Santorum is not very well known, he is known to most people for his infamous speech to a reporter where he was talking about gay marriage and compared it to a “man on Dog”. And of course he is known in the Urban Dictionary for a particular type of bodily fluid. Do you find it fitting that Republicans are so out of ideas and leaders that felt the need to pick Rick Santorum to rebut Obama.
I never thought Ron Paul was a bad guy. I just never understood why he claimed that he was a Republican. His views and ideas are so far left that he passed Obama.
Not having to pay taxes, keeping your whole paycheck, ending the war, sending aid money to Africa, etc…..

Former Republican Senator Rick Santorum, when speaking at college campus, said the following in criticism of Islam:
“A democracy could not exist because Mohammed already made the perfect law,” Santorum said. “The Quran is perfect just the way it is, that’s why it is only written in Islamic.”
With that logic, the Torah is written in Jewish, the New Testament in Christian, and I am currently speaking “American.”
Is that true what he said because I thought the Quran was originally written in Arabic. Is he correct or just ignorant about his subject? Shouldn’t he have some theological and historical knowledge about Islam if he’s making speeches about it as a self-appointed expert?
Does this say anything about his defeat in the 2006 Senate race?
Does this say anything about Republicans in general??
Since 2003, the number of high ranking Republican officials, Governors, and Congressmen who have been brought up on serious criminal charges has been staggering. This video is a short summery of the most high-profile Republicans that have been convicted and investigated. At the very least it shows Republicans as a party of hypocrites who flagrantly disregard the law. At the most, it reveals the modern GOP as a political organization rotting from the top down.
