He may have bombed his speech for the Republican party, but I think he is a decent governor – Louisiana was the only state in the union to INCREASE employment in early 2009/late 2008, and he is not a "Republican in name only" – he truly believes in the principles of right-wing politics.

What do you think? Personally, I think Obama will go down in history as one of the worst presidents ever. Socialism is evil and so are liberals.

My father identified himself as a conservative Democrat, then as an Independent. He is a blue-collared worker since he runs the production line at his work who is part of the Teamster’s Union, so he votes for the candidates that most support unions. He says he voted for Reagan when he ran for President because of how crappy of a President Jimmy Carter was, so Reagan was one of the only alternatives. He says that he thinks JFK, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton were good Presidents, even though they had different political stances.

What I mean is: Does anyone know just what the process is when one president leaves and another comes in? Do the presidents actually live in the white house? Or is that just essentially a very big office; so, the current pres’ just doesn’t go into the office one day. Does he pack up a box of mugs, pencils, and photos of the wife and kids and just walk out to a limo? I wonder if they have PWS (President Withdrawl Syndrom.) What do you think?

Name some things that Presidents or others have sneaked into the White House: drugs, women, whatever. I know it’s kind of an odd question, but I just read where Roosevelt’s sons sneaked a horse into the White House (though I’m not sure about the accuracy of that source) and it got me to wondering what other unusual items have been nonchalantly slipped in there. Lewinsky, I think, doesn’t count since she was "supposed" to be there, but the best I could come up with, so far, is Marilyn Monroe. Any others that I’m missing?

What type of toilet paper in in the white house?
Do presidents buy their own type or is their a specific type throughout the whole white house?
Is it one that can be bought in stores or is it a white house special?
Just curious if anyone knows the answer.

Not any specific presidents, any president. I mean, more specifically, are they allowed to do anything in their private time, and is there anything off limits at the white house?

All presidents get scrutinized and criticized. Just because Obama got a free pass to get elected does that mean he’s above any hard questioning by reporters or any criticism by anybody?

We need to put a stop to this president, but the U.S. Senators of the Republican party, time after time Vote for the President 85%+ of the time, and anything to do with the war or to over ride the presidents Veto, the Republican Senators have no balls to over run, this president. So this next year i’m not a Republican anymore, I will vote against the Republican party the rest of my life, which under Bush may not be much longer.

How many of you feel the same way!

Wouldn’t it be great if the presidents get their own house or apartment and drive to work in the White House? Why do we want the White House to function as a "palace" for the president?
