Some people claim to be ex-muslim who turned to Christ but it’s usually easy to see that the person is a protestant christian who was never muslim to begin with (eg. they often mispronounce/misspell basic arabic terms). The majority of conversion stories I’ve seen so far are pretty easy to identify as fake. How come this odd behaviour?

At the last elections, Muslim brotherhood got 88 seats out of 508 seats in Egypt parliament. But this time, at the elections held yesterday, Egyptians made “muslim brotherhood” eat grass. Not a SINGLE out of 130 candidates of the “Muslim brotherhood” got enough votes to be able to enter the Egyptian parliament.
Turkish scenario in Egypt did not pass.

I recently read about a woman who was fired by a well known retailer for wearing her hijabi to work. This particular retailer has large photos of scantily clad models in the store and some of their clothing could be considered not in keeping with the needs for modesty. This retailer sells, tops have low necklines and jeans are very low cut. Given that Islam stresses modesty in dress would it be permissible for a Muslim woman to work in such a store?

I’m just wondering why don’t Muslim graveyards don’t have grass or so. I think there is a specific reason, but I don’t know what it is. I’m Muslim, but I don’t know the reason.

Over the past year I’ve gotten to know the qualities of this man and he is remarkable and exceptional. He respects my choice to remain muslim. I acknowledge how Islamic law forbids such an arrangement. However, I’ve come to terms with this and believe Allah is more understanding. I realize this just verifies my disconnection with Islam, but I believe the gentleman is an exception. Please help me find a way to talk to my father.

Are Egyptians happy about the perspective of “democracy” in the variant like it was in Iran?

A lot of people have been reffering to Egypt as a Muslim Country.
Arabs are the people in Arab countries most of them concentrated around Mediterinean, majority of them are Muslim, but approximatly 40,000,000 Arabs are Christian.

And most Muslims are not Arab !

India, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, all the Stans, all these are not Arab.
