Linda Chavez – Among the challenges facing the Democrats in the 2012 election is the prospect that President Barack Obama will not be able to re-energize his base — which included record numbers of Hispanic voters in 2008. Hispanics gave Obama 67 percent of their votes, but just as importantly, Hispanic turnout was higher than usual. More than 10 million Hispanics cast 9 percent of the total vote, the largest ever.
Reuters – The New Hampshire Democratic Party on Friday said Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign may have violated election finance laws by funneling “soft money” into the Republican frontrunner’s White House bid.
In the 1800s Democrats had control of the South and Republicans had control of the North.
Now Republicans have control of the South and Democrats have control of the North.
Could someone explain to me what happen that caused this political switch to occur.
What makes you think electing a Democrat president would make things any better? Have the Democrats in congress kept their promises? What have they accomplished?
I think Mike Huckabee will make a great president. John McCain is pretty harsh tempered and I thought he did horrible at his last debate. We need someone well spoken and professional to represent this country. Whats funny is, last month I had no idea who Mike Huckabee was, he did so well in his public speaking and ideas to win my vote. Democrats are proposing massive new domestic spending programs and some want the government to nationalize the health care industry and make health care “free” for everybody. Republicans want to wage wars in numerous countries (currently, the military is occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and I’ve heard people advocating invasion of Iran and Sudan and waging propaganda campaigns against numerous other countries, including Russia and China).
Where exactly do you guys propose to get the money for your counterproductive programs? You obviously can’t tax the people any more because your Federal Reserve system has destroyed our economy by creating that Housing Bubble. You can’t just print money, unless you want people to be using wheelbarrows to carry enough money to the store to buy a loaf of bread. You can’t borrow much more money because our country’s national credit card is close to the credit limit and the rest of the world doesn’t like your government to begin with. What do you propose to do to fund your bailouts, stimulus plans, and wars?

Larry Elder – Here we go again.
He’s very mature for his age. He explained to me that it’s not just about running around creating a club, it’s about helping the candidates win votes by posting posters around the neighborhood. He also said the club would be a way for his fellow democrats to express themselves. I have seen some of his friends and they are very political. What do you think?
