What is Differennt between the Republican and Democrat?
Many of you have expressed great confusion, in these troubled times, in trying to tell a Republican from a Democrat. Sure, we know what they say they are; most of them have well displayed nameplates. But could you tell one from the other in a blind test?

What are the projected Democrat states, Republican states, and swing states?

im a democrat and when i was confronted at the polls with conflict about who i wanted to vote for in november, the lady said i needed to not put democrat but open if i wanted to select who i wanted. that is why the stats show republican dominate the polls. sucks, eh? this was in Palin’s hometown of wasilla where i voted. maybe i should have voted in anchorage.

What do you view as a democrat, their beliefs, policies, what makes them stand out from republicans. I am a democrat, but I don’t know why except that my dad is one, my mom is republican. I think I am a christian, but to choose one, I really want to know what exactly is that I am wanting to be.
ok I see what ya’ll are saying, but I want to know really what is a democrat…its a simple question to a complex answer, so ony a person who truly is a democrat or is a nonbiased to democrats type of person can answer this, thank you!

I know one is a donkey and one is an elephant. I’d rather be an elephant than a donkey.
But I don’t know what makes a democrat and what makes a republican?
Do they believe certain things? Does is depend on where you live?

If, after she’s given it her best shot and still is not the nominee, if she gets behind the Democratic candidate and asks her supporters to vote for him, will you do that if you’re a Democrat? Will you listen to Hillary? Do you think her followers will listen to her?

Or did they forget to mention that Sidney Harmon’s wife is Democrat Congresswoman Jane Harmon from California. I’m sure Newsweek will maintain their journalistic integrity and UNBIASED reporting.

I’m just curious to know whether your town/city is mostly democrat or republican, and why you think it is.

Personally, my community is mostly democrat, I’ve seen Obama signs around, with only a few McCain signs. I really don’t know why, but we do have a variety of demographics and ethnicity’s in my neighborhood.

I am a moderate Republic. I do not like either conservative Republican candidates for Florida Governor, Bill McCollum or Rick Scott. Tom morrow is the primary. I want to vote for the Republican candidate most likely to lose to moderate Democrat Alex Sink. So who do you think is most likely to lose to her?
