It seems that Scott Brown’s songs follow a formula. Compare this to Life As We Know It
Long build up where the beat starts, a backing synth kicks in at around 0:45, with interludes of a robotic voice saying the song’s title, the breakdown with a piano riff, which continues to play until the main synth comes in, the title is said again, and the chorus plays before another beakdown-buildup-chorus bit.
@scudmore27 I agree. The start is like it is because it is easier to mix tracks together. The merging of the tracks will be smoother, it’s much better than just ending a track abruptly and playing the next song straight after it which would sound awful
@ose007 your friend will have to learn that those without patience miss out on a lot of things and that not everything in this society is made for instant gratification. He will also learn the beauty of the scroll bar.
@gibsonsSG you still could mix w/o intros, it would just be VERY difficult to work with. As for intros being uninteresting, I was afraid that the long intro would be off-putting, but it was good enough to keep my mates (gabbers?) interested.
This is great music!

They’re still great songs though.
I really like the piano tune at 1:30 !!!

@ose007 your not british then, if u were u would know that the build up to a good track is always to way, dude
@ose007 so godamn true
teh hardcor3 is ftw!!!! PLURz
@ose007 It’s called an intro, DJ’s use them for mixing. Scott Brown is a DJ. Circle Of Life.

@ose007 It’s part of a mix, catering to heavy rollers, so it’s to be expected
@ose007 its called an intro which DJS use for mixing…
@ose007 What a waste of a good tune – I prefer the original, but think they could have been a bit more creative with this.
You people ever heard of downloading the song, then editing it to remove the parts you dislike? Works like a charm for me.
Either way, this is soo good… Man.. Anyone know any other songs at all similar to this, or the original Elysium?
@aeriescannonfodder oh yeah, lol its possible just more difficult, rather than beatmatching it , find a point where you can just drop it in

@ose007
I think it’s well structured
This makes me want to go and fill a jerry can up with jip and take the KX for a frisk
@ose007 its called and intro, and would be un-mixable without it
euphoria in a song! omg… sends the same shivers down my neck as mdma!
@ose007 Its called an intro. Used for mixing.
I just found out happy hardcore is so fast the only way to dance to it is by jumping xD
@stkcarm5 I personally like Elysium Plus better than Elysium. Much better.
@stevenmcl1
hm never knew that but I like this version, the best version
@stkcarm5 This is actually UK Hardcore. Scott Brown makes a lot of Hardcore and UK Hardcore music.
@emotioncomingsoon
I miss the oldschool toytownish happy hardcore like this
