Why is the McCain camp hiding Sarah Palin?
With so much negative news revolving around Sarah Palin, wouldn’t it be best for her to just give an interview and put all the speculation to rest? Is she not ready for prime time? Seems like if she is prepared to be 2nd to the presidency, she should be able to give a simple media interview….

You think it’s wise to respond to every vile thing liberals say about conservatives? If that’s all they did they wouldn’t have time to say anything else… Should Bush get up each evening when he addresses the nation and say “I’m not Hitler” come on.
There is real news, and liberal media invented news. Since you’re not voting for her in the first place, why are you wetting your pants over her next interview?
Maybe she’s getting a crash course on how to deal with the press. She can’t just face them unprepared. Or maybe she’s been in labor giving birth to another baby, or to twins.
Shows that the GOP are afraid that her inexperience will be her downfall. The only reason she is on the McCain ticket are two bullet points:
pro-life
NRA
Two bullet points that will get Conservatives out to vote for McCain, who would otherwise not support him. The more she speaks, the more mistakes she will make and show her political inexperience.
They have to prep her first.
Because it would be explosive if they let that happen.
No interviews until after Nov. is the McCain/Rove strategy. Will the media fold to this idea?
She will be all over the place after wed night. They are just waiting for the intro at the convention. Besides, she has been very open. The only ones who seem to think there is an issue are the people who wouldn’t accept her anyway.
She made a statement yesterday,and now she is out campaigning and getting ready for the convention. The only thing hiding is your brain from your head. Can’t blame your brain for wanting to run away though….

Did you ever stop to think that maybe she is going to address all this tomorrow in th RNC? Why not be patient and see what everyone is talking about, then address the issues? Seems like a better idea that jumping to conclusions don’t ya think?

Probably because the liberals would want to “whisk her away and brainwash her”. Come on now, they’re not hiding her…they’re just building up the intensity. She’s great and I’m a fan. Glad she’s a conservative!!!

Probably so she can be brought up to speed on issues she’s not already up on.
She saw how badly Obama did in the primary debates, and that was with sympathetic moderators. She knows she won’t be cut that much slack, so she wants to be prepared so things aren’t above her pay grade.
The best way to handle negative news, if you call the media hype and half-truths news, is to ignore it.
Why give interviews on “issues” that aren’t relevant to the real issues?
She’s taking the high road, something we should all strive for.
I think that the republican base was shocked by what they did not know about Palin….. when she was chosen…. and they needed some time to discuss damage control and how to spin the problems that are obvious.
IDK? But here’s what I think about Palin:
She is a well stood-up women, she looks like a very nice woman, and she is one of my many role models. John McCain is 72 (I thought he was like, 54?), and he is getting old, and is not too far away from becoming sick, and passing (come on, everyone has to [die]), and everyone knows that the VP is President when/if the President dies, so that gives… Nevermind. Maybe McCain thought that there should be a woman president.
