What Percentage Of Sarah Palin And Glenn Beck’s Fanbase Are 22 Years Old?
I can’t imagine they have a large following among the 22 year old demographic.
Jared Loughner is 22 years old so I do not believe he was influenced by Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck.
If Jared Loughner was a middle aged man, than the liberal arguement would hold slightly more water.
If you ever watch an episode of Glenn Beck, you will notice that the vast majority of the live audience in his studio look like they are over the age of 40.

Liberals might want it to be true, but it simply isn’t; most of this group is liberal.
I don’t think it was age that got people started. It was the video he made that sounded like it was written by Glenn Becks writers. I don’t see any connection with Palin.

It is clear Loughner was NOT motivated by the Tea Party, talk radio, Beck, Palin, or anything related to conservatism.
Nor was he motivated by the left. Despite the fact he listed the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as his favorite books, and his friends in high school said he was a Kerry supporter in 2004 and quite liberal.
Evidence shows he was a sociopathic, paranoid schizophrenic who was filled with wacky conspiracy theories. In other words, he was nucking futs! Even if he sat in a padded room from the age of 10 until now, he would still be dangerous.
@Disher: Do a quick google search on the hate speech, vitriolic speech, and violence from the left, and it makes anything from the right look tame.
…. It’s not just them but the overall atmosphere. RW radio and TV has been pumping out hate talk 24/7 for the last 30 years. It never ends and it’s from many Republican sources, even including Congress. Remember Michelle Bachmann saying she wanted her constituents armed and dangerous? Remember when Boehner threatened Rep. Driehaus because he voted for health insurance reform, telling he was “a dead man?” You can see the hate everywhere, even on this board.

It is becoming more and more clear that:
1. there is no evidence that Jared Loughner ever listened to anything Sarah Palin said; and
2. it is both absurd and irresponsible to claim otherwise.
the better question is what percentage of his audience is crazy?
I’ would say it’s hovering around 100%
You don’t have to worry about defending Palin or Beck. This desperate need by some Liberals to find any fault with these two by using Loughner will fade back into the noise of the normal attempts to find offense and fault.
