Has any psychologist analyzed the mindset and behavior of Sarah Palin, Obama and George Bush Jr?
wеrе аnу studies mаdе bу psychologists whаt аrе thе psychological factors thаt motivated Bush Jr tο invade Iraq аnd аbουt thе behavior οf Sarah palin аnd Obama?
At the outset let me say that many members of the Psychological Establishment reject analysis of people without them being interviewed. These are called psychological autopsies and the CIA has a Department designed to do precisely this type of analysis. Although I agree that it is more accurate to interview a subject, the subject will decline, like Bush did. I suspect that Conservatives would be less cooperative because of their m istruspsychologyhology. In any case here are the Psychological Biographies, which I won’t repeat here in detail/
The first and most extensive one was called Bush on the Couch., He found that Bush was brought up in a cold environment with small empathy. Father was away, Mother was rigid and punitive. When his sister died of leukemia and he wasn’t told about it until after a small funeral.Bush is distrustful of people, authoritarian, had a learning disability ADHD, and could not compete with his father. He compensates by acting like a clown. Some of his wars and lack of empathy was manifested by his social policies, more for the rich less for the “welfare Queens ”
Deepak Chopra MD, did an analysis of Sarah Palin. He found that se was parochial comfortable only with her friends Playing the role of victim and intolerant of other opinions and secretive as well
Lastly Ali Sne wrote an article about Obama, which was rather hostile. He found Obama to be grandiose dangerously charismatic, mad and racist. He called his charisma a danger, because women were swooning over him, thus making a cult of the personality, which was compared to Hitler’s in some ways.I would consider that these analyses can be valuable, and it would be rather fascinating if politicians were to undergo such analysis to determine their personalities. This of course would be a two edged sword, in relation to who does the analysis and who the analyzand is. Superficially I wod conclude that there were many Presidents who were terrible appnecessarypathic, and full of despise. An analysis would not even be neccessary because they spoke by their deeds
