What do Ron Paul supporters think of the true conservative, Alan Keyes?
You Ron Paul supporters need to youtube Alan Keyes, he was actually a conservative, with logically, well thought-out, articulate views on the tax structure, Israel and the middle east, hot button social issues, and a true grasp on the Constitution. I don’t want to sound incendiary about Ron Paul, but I think the guy you Ron Paul supporters need to look into is Alan Keyes, he is what you’re actually looking for in a candidate.
Why is Ron Paul not conservative?
i supported him for his run the first time around
but he has let the crazy out on his radio show a few years back

Alan Keyes is way too socially conservative for my taste. He is a bible thumper. I remember him running in 2008, didn’t really care for him then and I’m sure nothing has changed since.
Btw, what exactly is a “true conservative”? Every hear of the “No true Scotsman” fallacy? Is a “true conservative” someone that follows the GOP platform to a ‘T’? If that’s a true conservative, no thanks.

I remember when Keyes ran against Obama for the senate. If the voters there were more concerned about what the founding fathers intended, and less concerned about getting their free ride from cradle to grave, then Keyes would have beat Obama by a landslide.
