    So when is Congress going to stop just complaining about this and take action towards impeachment? Surely Congress understands that if they do nothing about this then they to are violating their oaths and are an accomplice to this unconstitutional act? And are you all aware of the fact this strips you all from any immunity and because this is adding? to the public debt that a 14th amendment bounty can be place on each you where all? your personal assets can be taken to pay off this debt???

    Ron Paul for President 2012!
    This amazing man definitely needs to run! Even if he doesn’t win it’ll still greatly increase the freedom movement, just like it did in 2008

    bandito707: That makes sense, I hope Ron Paul can get an audit of the FED going, I was reading up today and I see how difficult it is to accomplish. Also, how can we wake people up? Americans should start taking an interest in these important issues… It’s all so frustrating to me.

    @jcmurphy1974 Unfortunately the majority get most their news from the mainstream media where Ron Paul is hardly mentioned. But, as the Founders once said, it doesn’t take a majority to win but a tireless minority keen on setting brush fires in the minds of men.

    I always see an overwhelming majority of people on the internet, in blogs and on these comments in favor of Ron Paul (myself included) But why is it that most americans are not willing to vote for him as president?

    The real reason the U.S. Constitution and the rule-of-law is always broken is contracts don’t care who sits in power or what bribes are need to be paid to brutal dictators to operate under :
    Occidental Petroleum,
    Caterpillar,
    Boeing,
    Raytheon,
    ConocoPhillips,
    Halliburton.

    As much as i hated the Bush Administration, and everything they did, at least George W. Bush had the balls and the manhood to go on national television, look the American people in the eye, and tell us all that we are going to war. “to the iraqi people, do not destroy oil wells, don’t fight back, the full force of the American military is coming into your country.” Obama is a strait up Bitch. A Coward. Afraid to go in front of America on National Television and explain his NeoCon Ways

    @bmlong137

    Well, i am talking about the international community voting together. Not a individual country. The U.N resolution to have a no-fly-zone and to protect civilians was voted through by the security council and i think that is how it should be.

    Because then you have a lot of liberal democracys that have their say and a lot of big powerful countries with a VETO right that they could use if they think a decission is very unethical.

    In that way we limit the chance of wrong decisions.

    President can send U.S. armed forces into action abroad only by authorization of Congress or if the United States is already under attack or SERIOUS THREAT. The War Powers Resolution requires the president to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war.

    Qaddafi in Jersey now?
