Ron Paul is technically a Libertarian, while most Republicans are Conservatives.
The majority of Republicans are far from conservative. Look at how much Bush spent and all the anti constitutional laws he supported. Bush said he would have resigned the semi automatic rifle ban if it was place in front of him.
Its just like the majority of democrats are far from the classical Thomas Jefferson definition of Liberal. Thomas Jefferson would be disgusted by the people that call themselves liberals.

My question was about Freemasonry and why are Republicans allowed to join. I delight in going to Lodge but many of my brothers are republican which baffles me as Masonry is supposed to be about spiritual enlightenment which is anti-republican.
Paul is a Libertarian, I am a Republican and a conservative at that.
not sure what the Republican party is anymore, but they are not conservative. seems like both party’s are now run by the NWO, Builderburg. now we are screwed unless we get rid of both party’s.

No. Paulistinians cant just place up with the fact that most Republicans dont like someone who 24/7 blames America for everything. Rick Santorum brilliantly exposed him on this. Plus getting rid of the central bank will be quite silly(and i’ve read his book btw…so dont play the “you dont know his thoughts yet” card on me). Not to talk about the disasters that will occur when he eliminates income tax, medicare, social security and every other program which America has made America fantastic. Let’s not even go to his isolationist foreign policy where he says that we should close down all our military bases and bring all our troops home in the naive hope that they’ll suddenly start liking us. These people don’t know what libertarianism means to conservatives, to be the most “conservative” You have to be a libertarian, because the basis to “conserve” is best done through the free market, thus you have to be a libertarian. Remember Berry Goldwater? Or Taft? Cleveland? They where all known as conservatives, but they have libertarian principles!! The social neo-conservatives are really the ancient authoritarian left!
