Is Ron Paul destined to become of the most influential figures of this decade the 2000′s?
I am a Ron Paul supporter. His message makes alot of sense. However, is he destined to become of the most influential and memorable figures of this decade? Every decade seems to have them, but will Ron Paul fall into this category? Also, is supporting Ron Paul for President a new fad and trend?
He hasn’t done anything.
alas, he had better enjoy his 15 minutes of fame now.
I only support Paul in his position against prohibition and the War on Drugs. He should try to concentrate on ending that war.
He may not become president, but he has opened my eyes to a lot I would have never know about before.
Such as the truth about the Military Industrial Complex, the abuse of our Constitution, and the silly drug laws.
“One man with courage is a majority.” – Thomas Jefferson
Nope, won’t be a blip on the radar screen. He may be right on alot of issues, but in this stylistic political environment, he hasn’t a prayer.
Love his energy/positions, but wrong guy, right time. He is like trying to sell caviar as spawn sacs.
No.
By the way, he ran and got beat like a one-legged-man-in-a-butt-kicking-contest last decade.
He’s a fringe racist and blame-America-first libertarian.
I am so sorry to have to let you know that, Ron, has absolutely no chance at all in winning the nomination for the GOP.
He is neither a new anything or a fresh anything.
Give him up.
Stop donating your hard earned money to him.
It is 2008. He is certainly opening republican’s eyes to new ideas, but there is not much of the decade left. When we look back at the whole decade in 2010, I doubt he will be considered most influential. His ideas may have more impact in the 2010 and 2012 elections.
Ron Paul is the best political candidate since Ross Perot. If the “Republicrats” see his momentum building, they’ll do one of three things:
1. Try to discredit him, as they did Perot in 1992;
2. If that fails, they will threaten his family, as they threatened to disrupt Perot’s daughter’s wedding in 1992;
3. If all else fails, the “Republicrats” will see to it that Paul meets with an unfortunate ‘accident’, or contracts some mysterious fatal illness.
The “Republicrats” will NOT relinquish their stranglehold on a monopolistic, corrupt two-party political system that gives voters no real choice, and only serves those who are heavily invested in the ‘status quo. Paul is an outsider, as was Perot. He actually believes a Presidential candidate should serve the people instead of the special interests.
Paul’s chances of being elected are slim-to-nil UNLESS there is an enormous groundswell of support from the American citizenry. It will take voters’ revolution in every state, requiring write-in votes, protests where Paul isn’t on the ballot, and voter referendums that challenge the mainstream political corruptness. -RKO- 01/20/08

Yes he will,he will forever be the leader of the RON PAUL REVOLUTION, the second American Revolution.
We are entering a new age of enlightenment and
The great spiritual awakening,
more and more people will realize that peace cannot come by way of bullets, bomb or swords and in the event of a nuclear war, there are no winners, we all become equally dead.
I think he will be among the greats if he becomes president.
Anyway, I made a comic strip to support Ron Paul… just like to share it with you… it’s created using Comiqs, an online comic creation tool.
