In the Iowa straw Poll Was Michelle Bachmanns slight victory over Ron Paul a victory for Democrats?
It seems to me that more people out side of the Republican base would ( or might ) vote for Ron Paul rather than Michelle Bachmann.
I think Republicans will vote their base and could careless about any one else .
Which certainly will not win them the extra – out side vote.
And that is really the point of my question.
Yes.
No, the real candidates are Romney and Perry.
There is so much time between now and the primaries that the both Bachmann and Paul will fade into the woodwork.
Who knows it is far too early to declare anything.
Michelle is a native Iowan. Ron Paul isn’t a victory for either party, but a victory for AMERICA.
The spirit of John Wayne Gacy was with her.
I don’t really care about the Iowa straw poll. It doesn’t mean anything.
“No, the real candidates are Romney and Perry.”
You are half right. Perry is damaged goods.
Michelle Bachmann is a lunatic who has no chance of winning in the General Election and the overwhelming majority of Ron Paul supporters are just incredibly lazy, stupid and greedy people who don’t realize what a complete moron Ron Paul really is. In that sense it really was a gift to the American people.
The straw poll reflects a group of people in one state. We shouldn’t get hysterical about the result and just recognize that IF Ron Paul is the candidate, many Democrats and Liberals will vote for him because of his view on the legalization of pot.
