After Bush and Obama can we elect a President in 2012 who isn’t a warmonger? Maybe Ron Paul?
Ron Paul іѕ truly thе οnlу electable candidate. Thе rest аrе nothing bυt bουght out corrupt politicians. Hοw аrе people blind tο Pauls message? Dο people nοt lіkе liberty, freedom, self reliance, аnd peace? I dont know whу anyone wουld bе fοr war, nation building, аnd hυgе government.
Hopefully Paul, but I feel like his only supporters are members of the younger population (generally college students). He’s a Libertarian, and while I oppose some of his views, I still reckon he has the best chance at beating Obama
Yes
I have some feelings that he will be prez in 2013. Odd, real odd. But I for one am so sick and tired of the same ancient crap coming out of the GOP. The only solid TP candidate is Bachmannn, and she is way down on the polls. A excellent TP congress will keep most of Paul’s Libertarian urges under wraps.
What you don’t seem to realize is if the wars end and all those soldiers come back to the U.S., where will they work? Both parties know the unemployment numbers will skyrocket. Some of the military that were called back will get back their ancient jobs and whoever is working there now will be fired. You know the liberal Democrats won’t place the military on the border unless it is to hand out blankets, food stamps, and water bottles.
You will probably have to get rid of your 725 US Bases in at least 59 countries. Which is a disgusting array of imperialism, and colonialism spread across our earth.
Obama is a warmonger, he has bombed 3x as many countries as Bush, and btw, PAKISTAN WAS AN ILLEGAL BOMBING.
He is not electable because the RNC won’t support him. Even the corporate media wont give him any coverage. If he cant pay for TV ads and he cant be in the Republican convention, how would he get elected. We dont have direct well loved voting. The powers will never back him. He has tried 3 times. He is a pariah for the Repubs like Ralph Nader is for the Dems because they want to change everything.
I like him too but if he is shut out of the campaign he cant get nominated. The system is rigged to get someone elected that the powers that be want. Look at Bush Jr. He only got in because certain handful of people wanted him in.
The truth is, America has to sustain its military or we would be conquered. Many nations despise us and have historically wanted to end our freedom. We are despised for being the leader of the world. Ron Paul is right about not being the world’s police man, but we do need to sustain our military might to ensure we stay free.
Bush was a bipartisan President who went to war only after addressing Congress and the Dem Congress supported his choice. He did not go to war on his own and certainly the country went to war in response to 9/11. That Dems take advantage of the weak minded and hide their own actions in the war just means that they believe, strongly, that most of their supporters are stupid. The largest saber rattlers after 9/11 were Dems and certainly Hillary Clinton who then was a Senator from NYC. The 2nd election occurred three yrs into the Iraq war and Dems did not campaign against it, and how could they, Kerry and Kennedy and all voted for it every year. We need to return to the times of bipartisan Presidents Bush and Clinton) who compromise and dialogue on issues unlike Obama who had total control of Congress and failed to do anything of substance. Any moral high ground that Obama supporters thought they had over Bush was squandered by Obama’s ridiculous meddling in Libya. Oil? Really, you reckon Obama did not turn on Moomar for any other reason? Oil, war, bombingh of civilians ,treachery, lying and now the colonization of Libya and installation of a fake government there is horrendous.
When one country or group attacks another, there’s war.if your Ron Paul is in office and we’re attacked,he’ll have to go to war or be out on his ear…..unless you reckon he’ll just bow and scrape his way out of the conflict….or no one will attack us if he’s president……and pigs will glide-lol.
Seriously, what are people thinking, conflicts will magically disappear?
We live in a globalized world. Ron Paul’s isolationism would have been appropriate in the stone age, not in the space age.
Bringing our boys home will still be less new unemployed compared to some of the layoffs these huge corporations perform every month. Yes Ron Paul is electable and I will be voting for him. Its amusing how even all branches of the military picked him as their candidate and the people here at home can’t even see it!
