Newt Gingrich? Are you kidding me? Newt will not just face despise from the DEMS but also from the staunch conservatives. They simply don’t like him. They admire his knowledge but his leadership skills will be dreadful and I know this because of how we saw him act as Speaker. Nothing has changed. Gingrich is a very hard person to stay delighted with. You couldn’t tell who finished Newt off, because practically everyone in the Republican caucus place a knife in him.

The Dems had a super majority, and the GOP cried wolf and pleaded the American people that they could lead. What happened? You had a bunch of freshman Congressmen who right now did not keep their promises with the American people. They prove they are the party of NO with no solutions. You need to also read up on the Berlin Wall and Reagan’s successful attempt at destroying the Soviet’s influence in Eastern Europe. This caused a severe blow to the Soviet momentum to spread its influence in the region. Once again, I give Reagan credit ONLY for foreign, though there are other things he did well. When I say our image was positive, we were not severely despised as we are today. We had alliances with Pakistan, Syria, Afghanistan then. That has changed because of Bush I.

If you know anything about history, Reagan did contribute much to the Soviet collapse. Go read up on Operation Cyclone you jerk and learn something. He spent the Soviets into oblivion because they were worried we would pass them technologically and militarily, which we did. It was the Soviet ideology we ruined. Go read.
