First off, not all Republicans call themselves “Christians.”
Nor do all Republicans take from the poor and give to the rich. Those that are “Christians” are often avid churchgoers who donate a fantastic deal of their time and money to the poor in their own way.
In some areas of the budget, Republicans have issues with programs they reckon are wasteful or ineffective for what they produce or how they work, and they often believe there are better more efficient ways to achieve the same goals — indeed such as teaching a man how to fish for a living rather than just giving him a fish… so that he just keeps sitting around waiting for someone to hand him a fish and never goes anywhere.
Yes, some Republican-attributed theories like “trickle down economics” have some major flaws, but generalizing Republicans as calling themselves Christian and then taking from the poor is highly inaccurate.
Repulicans donate more to chairty than liberals do. Stealing from anyone is incorrect, even if you try to justify it as “helping” someone else.
Generalization. Not all Republicans call themselves Christians. Going to church doesn’t necessarily mean that a person is a ‘christian”.
