Why would Republicans want to take congress in Nov and share guilt before the 2012 election?

   I am a Libertarian, not a Republican, although I often do vote Republican.

   The way that I see it, we are trying to prevent the effective Bankruptcy of The United States of America.

   If The United States of America goes bankrupt, we lose The United States of America. It is that serious.

   If we do not get Federal Spending cut back to sustainable levels we will lose our nation in a few small years.

   We cannot wait until 2012. We must take control of the Senate and the Congress in the November elections so that we can cut back the excessive Federal Spending to sustainable levels, or we will lose our nation.

   It is that serious.

   My sentiments exactly and I have posted several things to that regard.

   In fact I suspect that is why Republicans are running candidates that might not have the best chance at winning. Maybe now is the best time to promote thoughts that are so excellent they are not well loved. Sit out the elections while re-defining the party.
