Why are liberals so sure the GOP won't have a candidate for the 2012 election?
Let me ask you, before 2008 did anyone outside of Chicago know who Barack Obama was?
Right now the GOP is focused on election of this year, 2012 is still far ahead in the road so we could come up with serious candidate,
So don’t celebrate libbies, Obama could lose and the liberal dream of having a one party rule just like Soviet Russia and have the DEMONcrat party govern the U.S could be shattered.
I nominate virtually any Republican from the State of Arizona. They have guts and determination even in the face of irrational assault and insane attacks from the left…the kind of nominee I would want.
They can’t even agree on what strip club to go to for their family values conventions.
RepubliKKKans will have a candidate. He will be popular in trailer parks in Oklahoma. Elsewhere, not so much.
Didn’t you get the con memo? Government needs to stay out of the way of big business!
Because the only conservative candidate with any possible impact like Obama, will come out of the Tea Party movement which has pushed your party to the far right. Therefore, this person will split votes between Tea Party & GOP voters. The Democrats will still get their normal allotment of votes so you guys lose out in the end.
Because they’ve got some intelligence, not delusions like you out of touch southerners.
Democrats -?- Illegals is a funny guy.
Our opinions are based on our observations. With leaders like Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin the GOP does not present much of a threat to America right now.
Lets see. You guys laugh at Ron Paul who liberals can sympathize with over Palin, Huckabee, Giuliani, etc.
Plus, you guys are thinking about Newt who is a chronic divocer and had 83 ethic violations brought against him. However, you think he is the epitome of family values.
so far all the luminaries the right offers up have proven to be half wits. personally i think the gop is keeping their real pick hidden so he/she won’t have a chance to make a fool of him/her self. Cons are tricky.
Good luck with Mitt Romney.
LOL
Oh, the GOP will have a candidate all right. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that it’s Palin.
I knew who Obama was in 2004, and I’m not in Chicago, or even close. But then, I pay attention to politics.
Actually the sentiment you speak of is liberals questioning who is the GOP leadership RIGHT NOW. Notice how you take a thought and misconstrue it to serve your own inner dialog? Why do that????
And yes we are looking around wondering if the Grand Old Party seriously has dissolved to the point of taking ques from career morning zoo crew DJ’s..
We know the GOP will have a candidate (provided they survive for two more years) It’s just that every next white hope they have (Mark Sanford, Rand Paul, Bobby Jindal, etc.) ends up embarrassing them. As I see it, as they move to "purify" their party by driving out moderates, they get further and further away from a candidate that will have appeal to anyone outside the increasingly narrow Republican base.
No,Unless you were from Illinois,You would know nothing about him.
the deal with chicago politics is that neither party is clean.
