When was the last time a Non Democrat or Republican President was elected?

Not counting George Washington of course, when was the last time a non Democrat or Republican president was elected, hell when was the last time the media even gave a crap about one?
If what morgan says is true, then is there only 2 point of views in the world?
All Republican and Democrat Nominees have been a joke also Bush? Al Gore? (Freakin movie director, wtf?) Mccain…oh, come on! Obama…*slams head against desk* Hilary, ach…. we almost impeached her husband!

last non democrat or republican was millard fillmore in 1850. he was a whig.

i think that at least Bob Barr and Ralph Nader should be included in the presidential debates. the media doesn’t pay enough attention to them.

but to be fair, almost all third party candidates recently have been jokes.

    Millard Fillmore was a Whig.

And actually Teddy Roosevelt became a Progressive when he ran for his second term and nearly won. The closest a 3rd party candidate has ever been to the presidency.

To win an election, you need money.
To get money, you need support.
To get support, you have to appeal to people.
To appeal to people, you have to hate a point of view.
To hate a point of view, you need to have one.
To have a point of you, you need to be the extreme of a side of a spectrum.
To be an extreme of a spectrum, you have to declare yourself on which side.
And by choosing a side, you choose a party.
    And so forth.
