I am registered as neither. I vote for whoever I believe would serve tis country best. It’s fantastic being an independent.
My values make me a Democrat.
My conscience. ( Democrat)
Facts and Reality… make me a Republican.
I don’t say i’m either, common sense is all that’s needed to elect a president and anyone that would vote for this anti-American NObama is a fool
MCCAIN/PALIN or Slavery
I was born into a republican family(well, my dad’s independant, but he votes republican)
But that’s not necessarily why I’m Repub. It probably does have something to do with it though.
I am republican because I believe in the other things (most) republicans believe in. Pro-life, religion as part of politics, war is necessary….etc.
Well Republicans dont deal with the middle class, the democrat does so I go for the one that will help me.
I was raised on a *share cropping farm * but my paw always was
a Democrat..and so was MaW
and I did this for 63 years..and now the ancient folks are gone
and I see a guy like Barack Obama..and I can’t abide him or Obiden
so I am voting for Grandpa John McCain and wonderful Sarah Palin
Thanks but not thanks to the Democrats..theya re not going to win
I’m an American and want to vote for the best policies and the person of best character… NOT A POLITICAL PARTY!
Independent
I delight in keeping what I EARN
McCain Palin
Excellent For America
Like of God and America makes you be a Repbulican .
Like of Islam and despise for America makes you a Democrat.
I consider myself Independent. But lately I am swinging on the Democrat side, being the Republicans had become too repugnant and intolerant.
I AM A CAPITALIST BECAUSE I BELIEVE WE’RE RESPONSABLE FOR OURSELVES.
GOVERNMENT SHOULDN’T REGULATE ME
GOVERNMENT SHOULDN’T TAKE FROM ME TO KEEP NOR GIVE IT AWAY
I AM FREE,
I WANT TO WORK AND GROW AND KEEP THE FRUIT OF MY WORK
I DON’T WANT GOVERNMENT TO GIVE ME NOTHING, BECAUSE I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN AND KEEP IT AS MUCH AS I CAN
Personal principles, first and foremost. Those are even more vital than particular issues, though issues are also a excellent barometer.
I am registered Independent, but I tend to agree with Democratic values.
I was undeclared for a long time, but I re-registered as a Republican to vote in primaries. I was raised by a Republican dad and a Democrat mom (though I reckon she voted Republican), and my grandparents were both Democrats. They were immigrants from Ireland, who became dyed-in-the-wool Democrats when they became citizens.
I was born without any pressures of others to form my own stance and was until the age of 23 independent and had a liberal bias. Yet after research was done, and mainly due to George Bush for being my largest inspiration *cause the man is a idiot and it can scare anyone to get involved* I realized the dangers of a larger government. I started to know that despite how kind hearted liberal values are towards the poor and the world stage.
That it is the most damaging things you could ever have for this country. I am a conservative, and registered republican. And Ronald Regan is the standard.
One selects the party that has the closest views to their ideals. No, they are not born that way.
It does not appear that you have made a typing error. A quick course in Spelling 101 may help.
Fairness for the middle class. I will never vote Repub.
Because you either vote with you wallet or with your heart. I vote with my heart so I am a Democrat.
I am a democrat because:
I support free speech (even for Republican talk radio).
I support free expression (even for Christian fundamentalists).
I support equality (even for white males).
Other than being part white, I’m none of the above, but Democrats are about rights.
Is that right today? No.
Socialist policies have taken over my party, substituting for charity and like of rights and freedoms. Political bigotry have over taken many people’s ethics on both sides of the aisle, but I will not leave my party.
As an ethical man, I don’t abandon my party to those who disagree with me. That’s cowardly.
Regardless, keep speaking up, everyone. It’s one of the things that make our country strong, and back when my party still stood for it, we won the free speech battle.
Democrats for McCain/Palin
I was raised in a very conservative, southern, republican family. I’m now a libertarian because I reckon both parties are completely full of it.
I’m a Democrat, but I whisper when I say that, because I’m a conservative and the Democrat Party has shifted to Extreme liberal, why do I say that, just look at it’s leaders,Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, LieBama and I cannot support these people, WHY, because liberals believe in Evolution, and I believe in GOD, you cannot believe in both, either GOD made you or you came from a monkey, I can go into details about why I disagree with liberals, but it would take too long and no one would read it, so why waste our time
I don’t affiliate with a party – I vote the issues and my conscience.
Brainwashing – either way although the Repubs are worse.
The Dems and Rpubs are like 2 factions of one party not 2 separate parties – few Americans realise this. The Repubs are really against the interests of 99.9 percent of the population and the Dems a bit less really against the interests of 99.9 percent of the population.
Very few Americans realise this and keep thinking they’re going to get rich one day.
Basically, if you vote you’re deluded and if you vote Repub you are really deluded although it is a excellent thought to vote Dem anyway as it won’t be quite as terrible.
I don’t believe in abortion nor capital punishment, and that it should be an amendment in the constitution.
I don’t believe in gay marriage but do support civil union.
I support automatic citizenship to any legal alien who at the time of enlistment passes their background and serves honorably.
I believe in separation of church and state.
I believe it should be illegal for any church to endorse any candidate.
I support the legalizing immigrants who have not committed or supported violent crimes: armed rubbery, drug dealing, rape, murder.
I believe in supporting social programs measure by performance.
I believe education should be based on grades and not financial status and the education system should be in sync with industry demands. All public schools should be uniformed. Parents should be held accountable for their kids performance and behavior. Kids that want to learn shouldn’t have to go to school in dread of being intimidated by other kids who prefer to be nuisance and participate in gang or despise activities.
I agree that there should be more then a two party system.
I believe we should only go into war when it is necessary to defend this nation and the universally accepted civil rights of any group of people being prosecuted. But only after confirmation and diplomacy have been visited.
I believe the use of propaganda lies to stir support for an unnecessary conflict should be prosecutable as treason. Elected official should be held to the highest standards and punishment should be relative.
I am not a democrat, nor a republican, nor a so called independent.
I’m truly free, because I’m me.
P.S. I believe Obama/Biden is the best ticket.
