If Obama is a moderate democrat, then who would be called a extreme left leaning democrat?
Now, to be honest I NEVER would call him a moderate democrat, never. But I have seen some call him that. That is just crazy. So, I want to know who would be a extreme leftists?
Obama’s greatest talent is his ability to seem all things to all people.
But if you want to know what he really is, you need only look at his
actions and his mentors. Spending so out of control that our future
is mortgaged for all time, the largest government programs in history,
government take-over of industry and finance, government…
government, and more government…the solution to all problems.
His mentors are the radical Bill Ayers and America hating Rev. Wright. Heck, even his wife hates America.
Their goal is to scrap the constitution and our way of life. Their way
of doing things is exemplified by the way healthcare has been
forced through, and the way activist organizations like Acorn operate. They don’t get more radical than that.
uummm……….Mao or………..Chavez
lol time.that is funny.i guess nobody
Obama is a moderate.
This senator is far left, The Junior Senator from Vermont, Bernie Sanders
http://www.bernie.org/
If you think Obama is far left, then you have no idea what someone on the left really is, and you have no idea just how far slanted to the right you really are. Obama is a moderate, it is only Beck, Limbaugh, and Fox News that has brainwashed you into thinking that a Far Right position is a center position.
Bernie Sanders is a proud Socialist
Here is a quote from his website "Bernie Sanders believes that in the richest nation in the history of the world, all Americans should enjoy a decent standard of living. He believes that it is unacceptable that millions of people are forced to work for sub-standard wages and lack health care, decent housing and educational opportunity. He regards it as a national disgrace that the United States has, by far, the highest rate of child poverty of any industrialized country and a childcare system that is abysmal. He regards it as unconscionable that the United States remains the only country in the industrialized world which does not have a national health care system guaranteeing health care for all, and that millions of seniors lack the prescription drugs they desperately need."
Bernie Sanders, like all leftists, believe that workers should be paid a fair wage, that they should share in the profits from their own labor, and that the standards of living should he raised for all hard working Americans. He is the ONLY Senator that stands for YOU, the American Worker.
All other senators, and even Obama, are capitalists. They believe that big corporations should rule this country and they create and maintain policies to maintain the corporation as the ruling class in society.
Only a socialist believes that the worker should have an equal stake in the profits of a corporation as the investor. After all, it is the worker who creates that profit in the first place.
Obama is a moderate, because he did very little for the American worker. He instead built up the banking sector and protected the investor (capitalist). If you think Obama is an extreme leftist, then you really have not been paying attention to what he has done over the last 11 months.
If he was a leftist, he would have let the banks fail and re-write corporate law to make corporations share their profits with the worker who creates that profit, which would increase the quality of life for EVERY AMERICAN WORKER.
No, Obama is not on the extreme left. Please, look at those who are fighting for YOU and not the Banks.
Here is what you need to understand. The USA is by far one of the most Right wing countries on earth. Only places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Qatar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other middle eastern countries are further right, as well as China and North Korea. All other countries that are passing or have passed the USA in fairness, equality, health, education, and productivity are farther left. These countries are Australia, Japan, Sweden, Germany, France, England, and South Korea.
Obama is not an extreme leftist. He is left of American Politics, but on the world stage, he is on the right wing, supporting the corporation over its people.
Bernie Sanders would have fought for the worker, Obama supported Bush’s bailout of the banks. Bernie Sanders would not have done that. He would have let capitalism fail.
"Uncle Joe" (as in Stalin — who was a liberal of the extreme left).
You must be listening to the liberal news media to hear something like that. Maybe Ms. Couric wrote a song about it!
Obama has mastered the technique of TALKING like a moderate
but his actions are those of an extremist. It explains how he was
able to fool many into voting for him, only to find out later they
didn’t realize what they were getting.
I consider Obama to be liberal, but liberalism and conservatism exist on a continuum, so there are plenty who are to the left of Obama.
Some want to end all military involvement in the Middle East. Obama does not. Some believe the public option was absolutely essential for health care reform. Obama is willing to give that up to get the bill passed.
I have heard many liberal commentators complain that Obama is too bipartisan. They are upset that he nominated Bernake for another term as Federal Reserve Chairman. They are upset that he has put his support behind preparation for the Reagan Centennial celebration. They were livid that he chose Rev. Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration. What made that even better, IMO, is that many conservatives were equally livid that Warren accepted. You probably can’t call Obama a moderate, but anyone who can simultaneously p*** off the hard right and the hard left is doing something right!
Dennis Kucinich and Russ Feingold both for Single Payer Heathcare and against the Military Escalation and Military Occupation of Afghanistan,
Rep. Dennis Kucinich…..a little known fact is in the 2009 Cleveland (OH) City Council races, he endorsed a candidate who was once chairman of the Ohio Chapter of the Communist Party, USA, and remains active in that organization. If that doesn’t qualify someone for being of the extreme left, nothing will. This candidate – Rick Nagin – ultimately lost in the November run-off election.
Hugo Chavez is my best guess. Maybe he’ll move to NY and run for Hilliary’s old Senate seat.
