How would you describe a moderate democrat?
I’d lіkе tο ѕау thаt I’m a moderate democrat bесаυѕе I support thе 2nd amendment аnd Arizona immigration law, bυt I аlѕο аm pro-сhοісе, аnd lіkе thе thουght οf universal health care аnd οthеr factors thаt wουld аrе mainly Democrat. I dеѕріѕе thе word "liberal" bесаυѕе I rесkοn thеrе′s a dіffеrеnсе between Democrat аnd liberal. And one last thing іѕ thаt I heard thаt democrats frοm 20-30 years ago wеrе a lot different thаn today. If ѕο, hοw?
@ Beerman:
Whаt іf I don’t support ANY οf those people?
umm
isn’t that like a
partial VIRGIN?
The same way I describe a moderate Muslim. Hard to find if they exist at all.
a liberal that has a conscience and knows she is doing incorrect
The Democrat Party has become the party of blacks, homosexuals, abortionist, and left wing radicals. They have a black President who believes in black issues including Black Liberation theology. This is why their ranks have been shrinking for years.
Nonexistant. Anyone who supports Pelosi, Ried, and Obama is far left.
The so-called blue dogs all vote last so they can vote against unpopular leftist legislation after it has already passed. I don’t trust one of them to stand on principles if the left needs their vote.
Liberals have always had a problem wearing that title. I don’t know why they are so worried to be called what they are.
Marks are useless.
there is no such thing as a moderate democrat. Thats a fairy tale
A centrist.
Obama is a moderate democrat, and he leans to the right.

a patriot
20 – 30 years ago? How about going back to Kennedy? I mostly vote for Republicans, but I voted for Kennedy. He had a lot of "Republican" thoughts, such as cutting taxes. (Remember during his campaign speeches Obama claimed to be like Lincoln and Kennedy? What a laugh!)
Perhaps there is a difference between "Democrats" and "Liberals", but not when it comes to Pelosi or Obama. They are both Extreme Left-Wing Liberals (AKA Communists).
Before Kennedy, Dems & Reps at least made an effort to get along. Kennedy finished that forever when he attacked Nixon on the campaign trail (Dems have been brutally campaigning ever since).
Whether Reps or Dems, we need more moderates. Things have gotten way out of hand (immigration, taxes, public debt, bailing out billionaires who caused the economic collapse, way too huge government, even abortion [reckon of the "partial-birth" abortion. That is flatout murder]. Of course, I believe abortion is better than having a child the parents are incabable of taking care of.)
So, I would say that you have described a moderate democrat.
I thank you, and hope for more moderates (on both sides).
