1. parker griffith swaps parties
2. Laura Kelly, Jack McDonald, Todd Book, Paula Flowers, Dave Roberts who were all going to run against Republicans in 2010 have dropped out of their respective races
3. John Tanner, Dennis Moore, Bart Gordon and Brian Baird all democrats, all vulnerable in their up coming elections have decide to retire instead
How does the democrat party make up for losing veteran politicians, losing its most promising new recruits and having democrats swap party affiliation going into an election year?
The Dems’ "perfect majority" they have is quickly unraveling and their window of opportunity for turning our country to socialism is closing. I saw so many Libs comment that the Republican party is dead, irrelevant, etc….right after 0bama’s election. As Corso would say, "Not so fast my friend!"

It’s in their playbook, imitate a R, then continue with being a D. The conservatives need more checks and balances to make sure they do not run a D on their ticket. It is not a victory unless they actually get a conservative in the position. No more bate and switch.

Occasionally, people switch parties. People drop out of races for many reasons. People do retire. I think the Democratic Party is healthy and well. If I were you, I’d worry much more about the Republican Party with it’s only leader a talk show host with a seriously inflated opinion of himself and a history of drug problems.

They know that their party is crumbling before their very eye’s. obama has done nothing but destroy the democrat party. It is now very socialist. This is the hope and change that you wanted?
