I would say Congress as it stands right now doesn’t have too much of an upper hand. The Senate will have Lieberman to break the tie.. lol. It’s a Republican in Democratic Drag.
I wonder why we are just now worried about one party controlling legislative and executive branches. I worried about it from 2000-2006 and the amount of money that was given away to no bid war contractors and Blackwater.

If I have to take my pick, I’ll take domestically.
Military spending does not result in any sort of tangible creation. It is an industry built to facilitate destruction. At least domestic spending on healthcare and education is an investment into the American people and our competitiveness in the future.
Last time this happened we had gas shortages and high prices, double digit inflation, double digit mortage rates, high inflation, high unemployment, recession, loss of pride in our country. Thats right excellent ancient Jimmy Carter, Obamas right daddy.

Maybe they can undo what all Bush did while in office with his Republican run congresss, the dems didn’t take over until 2007.
The next congressional election will be in 2 years… Can anyone say Contract with America in 2010? This is exactly what happened to usher in the GOP and Newt Gingrich in 1996.

I feel excellent…I feel proud to be an American for the first time in 8 years,,,and i feel like rubbing it in your face each and every day that Obama is president…but most of all I feel like reminding you that George W. Bush made it all possible
