Yes, Obama is screwing this country 8 ways from hell and he will make Jimmy’s landslide loss look minor in comparison. That is if he even makes it to 2012 without being removed by force.
Yes. When Obama’s economic plan takes full effect, inflation will become a problem. Therefore, he and all dems that supported him will be in danger of losing elections.
I think they COULD have a chance, IF they can find the right person in time. Lots of luck to them with that, though.
Especially since so many of them seem pretty intent on destroying even that much of a chance before they even find someone who can use it.
They aren’t looking for anyone worth anything to lead the party, and they are alienating everyone who might have voted for the party except for the far, FAR right. They have a chance, but they don’t look like they intend to take it.
If the Republican Party remakes itself into a modern version of what it used to be at the dawn of the 20th century I believe we have a good chance. It’s stance on a lot of issues needs to change, and it needs to moderate it’s stances on others, and its collective tone. Some new blood in government would help too. Overall, I think if the Republican Party becomes a more intellectual and moderate party, and starts bringing forward real short-term and long-term solutions to our problems, and returns to true Republican values, many Americans would jump on board.
Well, hopefully the American people will have smartened up by then, more so than lately, and NOT let that happen. LOL
In fact, here’s an article on the nasty little history of the Republican party. It’s facts can easily be verified by doing simple searches, so yah, it’s pretty valid.
I think if more people knew what was within the history of the Republican party, less people would vote in that direction. It’s really a sad, sad, state of affairs that there are people allowing their selves to be force fed by the right wing propoganda that is being strewn about. Sad indeed.
If they continue to criticize anyone who is not in lock step with Limpballs and Dink Cheney, they will get a big wake up call and that may be what it takes to realize how alienating people doesn’t win elections.
I don’t care which party wins, as long as he doesn’t lie about giving america "hope and change." what a crock of sh*t, and his supporters still love this guy for being the lying bastard that he is.
I sure as h*** hope so, that is if we are still allowed to have free elections in this Country. With Obama and this administration, with all the far far left agendas, that truly remains to be seen.
2010 & 2012
We desperately need to get away from Obama’s idea of becoming another EU Country, and GET OUR COUNTRY BACK. He is in fact hijacking us. Some are too blinded to see this huge fact.
Of course they have a chance. All it will take is for the myth of Republican competence, shattered in 2008, to be restored; while seeing the Democrats as more incompetent.
I seriously doubt it. Obviously just mouthing off did not impress enough people to win it in 2008.
Hey pissed off panties…. The does not seem to be any hate in this question, just a misspelled name. You are kinda touchy tho. Is it ADD or bi-polar today ?
Absolutely they do, and If you’re asking this because of Obama winning the White house, Obama winning the White house means nothing. The GOP took control of the congress in 1994 immediately after Clinton won the White house, so don’t think Obama winning the White house means people voted for liberal ideals, what they voted against was a bad economy. Another indicator to what I’m saying being the truth, is the fact that right after Obama won the White house, proposition 8 was passed in California banning gay marriage. Keep in mind that California is a dark blue state and voted for Obama by a higher percentage rate than any state in the entire country. God bless.
Sure, somewhere between "slim" and "you’re joking?" unless the moderates re-take control of the party. There doesn’t seem to be much chance of that as the Ne0-c0ns are winning the internal power struggles and are driving out moderates by the dumpster load of late. If they keep that up, the Republican Party will become a permanent minority party much like the American Independent Party, Green Party, Constitution Party, or the Monster Raving Lunatic Party.
Look up the history of the Whig Party, a once great and powerful party in the early days of the US. In 1850 they turfed out a moderate up-and-coming party member by the name of Abraham Lincoln. Why? Basically because they were leaning pro-slavery in lock step with the Democratic Party of it’s day (FKA the Democratic Republican Party and having little to do with the modern day Democratic Party aside from the name) and Mr Lincoln had the nerve to speak out against adopting the party line of the opposition party!
Wake up and smell the coffee, Republicans! You are heading the way of the Whigs if you don’t get your moderates back into positions of power and authority within the party. The extremist chuckleheads of the right wing of the party will destroy you if you don’t!
if libs wake up and see what their president is doing to our country they will be forced to vote republican or not vote at all. the voting turn out will be less, and there will still be some ‘black power’ backing obama … it will be interesting for sure.
There are potential candidates (either by draft movements, ran b4 or by polling) Republicans for President (although this doesn’t mean much, as the person will have to announce to run):
Haley Barbour (Governor- MS)
Eric Cantor (Representative- VA)
Charlie Crist (Governor- FL)
Mitch Daniels (Governor- IN)
Newt Gingrich (Former Representative- GA)
Mike Huckabee (Former Governor- AR)
John Huntsman, Jr. (Governor- UT)
Bobby Jindal (Governor- LA)
Gary E. Johnson (Former Governor- NM)
Dirk Kempthorne (Former Secretary of Interior, Former Governor- ID, and Former Senator- ID)
Sarah Palin (Governor- AK)
Ron Paul (Representative- TX)
Tim Pawlenty (Governor- MN)
Mike Pence (Representative- IN)
Mitt Romney (Former Governor- MA)
Mark Sanford (Governor- SC)
Fred Thompson (Former Senator- TN)
John Thune (Senator- SD)
Their best bet is to nominate Ron Paul or someone who is unexpected to announce candidacy for the primaries.
Although no person has announced candidacy for the Democratic Party for President, it is assumed that Barack Obama will run for a second term (the last not to do so was Johnson in 1968).
No, they don’t have a chance until 2020, and even then…
Yes they do.
Yes, and the 2010 midterms.
No. Sarah Palin will be the sacrificial lamb and lose in a landslide.
Just look at idiotic questions posted by them. Do you really need to ask?
They won’t even be around that long.
OK liberal
If you want to post hate at least learn how to spell their names
ITS CHENEY
Now turn on MSNBC and go back to your brainwashing for this evening.
Follow blindly my sheep.

No.
no, but the libertarians do.
landslide go republicans.
Not if they continue to veer further and further to the right and paranoid insanity.
Yes, Obama is screwing this country 8 ways from hell and he will make Jimmy’s landslide loss look minor in comparison. That is if he even makes it to 2012 without being removed by force.
Depends how well Obama performs, and the state of affairs at the time.
I think with Romney and Palin we do. Obama seems to be making enemies.
If things keep going the way they are, I think they might.
It won’t be Rush or Cheney that have anything to do with it though.
Yes, like an snow balls chance in hell.
Not at the moment. Hopefully not then either.
Yes,especially since President Ding Dong is in the House. .
If they campaign at every nursing home in America.. Because those are the only people who will be voting for them.. LOL
Yes. When Obama’s economic plan takes full effect, inflation will become a problem. Therefore, he and all dems that supported him will be in danger of losing elections.
Not unless they can get their party together and stand for something.
I think they COULD have a chance, IF they can find the right person in time. Lots of luck to them with that, though.
Especially since so many of them seem pretty intent on destroying even that much of a chance before they even find someone who can use it.

It’s years away and hopefully Barry won’t cancel the elections.

Anything is possible
I think yes, considering the direction that Obama and his friends are taking us in.
Well, hopefully the American people will have smartened up by then, more so than lately, and NOT let that happen. LOL

If they keep making things up and twisting everything, they will be lucky to have more than 100 members is 2012.
If they continue to criticize anyone who is not in lock step with Limpballs and Dink Cheney, they will get a big wake up call and that may be what it takes to realize how alienating people doesn’t win elections.
Well, that depends on the next year I would say.
Not in God’s world .

A chance, sure. A good chance? No.
With leaders like those, no chance.
As of now, I think people still like Obama, and still have a bad opinion of Republicans, so, not a very good one.
I seriously doubt it. Obviously just mouthing off did not impress enough people to win it in 2008.
Hey pissed off panties…. The does not seem to be any hate in this question, just a misspelled name. You are kinda touchy tho. Is it ADD or bi-polar today ?
About as much as the saying of a snowball in hell. Can’t you just see Rush as their candidate for president.lol

Looks like they will lose more seats in 2010 and 2012 and won’t get near the White House as long as they remain in crybaby mode.
if libs wake up and see what their president is doing to our country they will be forced to vote republican or not vote at all. the voting turn out will be less, and there will still be some ‘black power’ backing obama … it will be interesting for sure.

Also, other parties nominate candidates.
