   I am not happy the economy is shot. Its terrible. I feel that Barack is going to win and would have won regardless.

   McCain said it best: "If you wanted to run against President Bush, you should have ran 4 years ago."

   If anyone is happy about the bad economy they should be shot (including yourself).

   Not happy that we are in crisis, but I see what you mean. You’re saying that The Economy is the nations biggest concern and since Obama has the smartest solution might I add, His chances of winning are pretty high.
   You gotta admit, when Clinton was in office, We had low gas prices, and people had jobs.

   We can’t blame Bush for the economic downturn. The Democrats were the ones that set the stage for the subprime loans that were the root cause of the economic crisis. We can blame Bush for the disasterous war in Iraq and the mishandling of Afghanistan.

   Anyway, I’m happy that Obama is doing so well. I think the reason for this has more to do with the pick of Sarah Palin and the vicious turn to the extreme right of the Republican Party in an effort to scare voters. Most Americans are sick and tired of this kind of smear politics.
