If they stop paying social security to people who have “substantial” income in their retirement, they’ve turned social security from an investment into a tax. Ironically, it means that people of ALL incomes pay for it, but ONLY poor people get it. How hilarious that a republican would suggest the rich pay the poor!!

@Paulsur the economic growth was from the deficit spending he ran thru his whole administration with his trillion dollar spending on STARWARS which was mostly spent in California and NJ where most of the military contractors have their facilities he also raised taxs several times to try and offset huge tax cuts he gave to the wealthy..gets ur facts str8.. under every republican there has been nothing but deficit spending tax cuts for the wealthy and wars/military spending

Yeah, boner. We’re “broke” because you jackasses overspent, egregiously in fact. AND, we still get some back even if you have a sufficient other income, because WE are the ones who put the money IN. It wouldnt even be there if not for US, and dont forget it. Doesnt his theory of giving less to those who are richer, even though they put in as much or more, sound like what they ALWAYS accuse the Dems of ?? @xadam2dudex Actually the facts contradict you on capital gains. Reagan cut capital gains and it spurned economic growth well in the Clinton years. Clinton cut capital gains late in his presidency and helped maintain a maturing economy until 9/11/2001. In 2003 Bush lowered them again and the economy rebounded out of the malaise of recession from 2002. These are economic facts backed up by history.
Without this show , I’d feel like one of the last sane people on Earth . . .
