@MegaSamB Hippie** And I’m sure he almost cut his hair, it happened just the other day. It was gettin’ kinda long, he could have said it was in his way.- But he didn’t and he wondered why. He wanted to let his freak flag fly, And I guess he felt like he owed it to someone.
@teerexness You’re 100% right. The last thing the government wants to deal with is the influence of talented, popular musicians with the ideals of John Lennon or Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
@GraditudevsRevenge That is awesome! I remember my mom and I coloring together and listening to her Guess Who tapes.. or Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.. good memories
@seonfox Love it! Im an old kinda Mom now but I WAS an 18 r old Mom when my Son was born.. I am thankful I had the chance to share GREAT music with him… Im still rockin.. LOL, Not in a chair!
@DavidPeterson726 Man, I so sorry you get all the CRAP music in your time. Im from the days like this, good music, good life.. Rock on my young friend!
I am only 18 and I listen to this band…in fact. I live in Winnipeg and I am a part of a community jazz band on Bass. Our lead Trombone player is Bill Wallace, the second bass player to co-write songs with Burton Cummings. I tell you that hes a very uncredited musician.
@GraditudevsRevenge That’s what I always say! I am only 25 but I had a young mom who played good music, if not for her I wouldn’t appreciate this great band!
@DavidPeterson726 your generation needs to get out there and push good music. Don’t buy the crap or anyone sponsoring the crap’s wares. I think the current mass media is deeply infiltrated by the government and the last thing they want is happy people singing great songs together. I think that explains the bad music being forced down out throats. Ultimately, there is absolutely no reason in the world kids couldn’t be making music of this quality today. We didn’t change, the mass media did.
@DavidPeterson726, there is a lot of good new music out there once you choose to ignore the pop crap that is foisted upon us. There has always been fluff at the top; if it’s the meat underneath that you’re after then you must stop listening to the commercial stations and find music for yourself. A good start would be to listen to CBC Radio 2 in the mornings and afternoons. There is so much Canadian music out there that it’s bursting at the seams!
@Alduin11 Your gradpa’s favorite band? Damned U just made me feel old, 1 of my favorites too. Oh well getting older is a whole lot better than the alternative.
@Ejexion i stand by my comment, ive said crazier things, just try and make sense of it, the song is about multicultural peace and every one inthe band apparently has or may have something different about them that would be descriminated against even today
but ya i was a little exited there when i wrote it i guess
@DavidPeterson726 lol, that’s cool you notice the difference, i grew up in this erra , though i was still young in the 70′s,, it was a very fun time to grow up.
One of the best live bands period.
I love the lead guitarist!
Awesome band very under-rated!
@DavidPeterson726 Hey, at least U get to hear some good music! And yes, your gen on music sucks! LOL

@DavidPeterson726 There is still great stuff out there, just have to find it
So long ago…..but just like yesterday.
Why the hell can’t I go back? I is homesick.
