That’s my photo of the Bank Street, Ottawa, Blockbuster Video outlet on the cover of the fake pamphlet @ 0:14: flic.kr/p/fA1tG I’m flattered that the Onion thought it was a good enough photo to use, but it’d have been nice if they had asked me first.
anyone Notice the messages on the bottom?
@YakAV8R not every where!?
This is genius!
As long as I am getting money from the technique at ez-casino(dot)com, I wish not to know the genius who posted it there.
@ananse77 yeah. you can watch movies instantly, but not whatever movie you want. they give you a small list of like 20 movies or something. in order to watch what ever movie you want to watch you have to get it through the mail wich is just a 3 day wait of nothingness when you could just get it at the video store wich is instant. see sir. this is why the world is full of idiots. people think with whats new and cool rather then commen sense.
@ninja909 Ummm, on netflix you can watch the movies immediately.
“Are alarms gonna sound when you walk out the front door” haha so true

The kids will be amazed when they find out that you could re-sell a book to someone else after you were done reading it.

That transcontinental breakfast doesn’t sound bad.
“costumes”
I know ‘The Onion’ isn’t real news, but I believe that in 10 years all bookstores & libraries will close. That is what makes me sad.
The bookstore down the street is going to close soon and they are talking about closing the only public library in my county as well.
Well. This video made me sad.
What’s a video store? Those places must have died out a long time ago. Like at least five years ago.
watching this does make me grateful for the net, I don’t even watch movies anymore
