Would it be appropriate if I as a McCain supporter offered an apology to Barack Obama and his supporters?
On behalf of myself I would like to offer an apology to Barack Obama and his supporters.
Someone yelled "kill him" at a campaign ralley. This was innappropriate and this person does not speak for all of Senator McCain’s supporters.
I certainly want to beat Senator Obama in the election and send him back alive and healthy to the Senate.
Would such an apology be appropriate and accepted?

The person who was speaking at the time should have stopped it the moment it happened. An apology is appropriate but not from you. McCain/Palin are the ones who need to make amends. Can you imagine the racist remarks that would be flying if it had happened at an Obama rally?

It’s been DAYS since the incident and mccain STILL hasn’t spoken out against the hate and anti-Americanism behind that screech.

Actually, it does make me feel better. It’s good to know at least some of the people with McCain see a need for national honor and pride over racism and hate.
