Why would Barack Obama make an excellent president?
If уου rесkοn Barack Obama wουld mаkе аn brilliant president, сlаrіfу whу уου rесkοn ѕο. Bе specific аnd positive.
Points wіll bе deducted fοr…
…Vague, general references tο "change"
…Answering simply іn terms οf whаt уου don’t lіkе аbουt Bush, Cheney, аnd thе Republicans. Sell υѕ οn whаt’s intrinsically fаntаѕtіс аbουt Obama without contrasting hіm wіth someone еlѕе.
Obama would make an brilliant president because he’s introducing new politics; out with the ancient, in with the new. His campaign is historical and represents the CHANGE due to the fact it is not your traditional, lobbyist-fed campaign; he, as an individual, represents change in that he is not the stereotypical older, white man running for president. I embrace the change and feel he’ll make an exceptional president.
He wouldn’t. Vote McCain.
Number one reason – he is NOT a Bush Clone.
He wouldn’t.
Obama is the front runner for the President of the most powerful nation in the world while he was a virtual unknown until July of 2004. This is Obama’s largest strength. The guy is a planner and plotting he did back in October 2007 when Clinton was plotting her coronation, he was analyzing the ways to beat a sure thing. He homed in on caucus states and Red stated with African American population. He knows how to win. He won in Chicago by Crook (got everyone else disqualified), then he won by being a radical (opposed a well loved war in 2002) and got in the US Senate in 2004. We all know how he beat Clinton. Realized that people wanted Change and not experience, something that Clinton was running on. If he finds a way to beat McCain he will prove that that he knows how to solve problems and that would be his largest qualification for being the President. He changes with the situation and with conditions. This is what we want in a President. A sharp and smart guy who knows how to win. I will take him over an ancient and out of touch guy who has 30 years of Washington experience but no judgment.
That is exactly the question. The answer is: he is too stupid to head our government.
He won’t McCain will
Vote McCain in 08 with proven experience, wisdom and knowledge
Obama would make the worst president.
McCain ’08
Can’t clarify, haven’t really heard anything worth listening to from him.
1. He’s inexperienced in a excellent way, meaning the system hasn’t gotten to him yet.
2. McCain flip-flops 61 times; you’ll see: http://www.alternet.org/election08/90956...
3. He gets stuff done.

Obama’s Global Poverty Act of 2007, passed out of committee just a few days ago
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Barack Obama (D-IL), Chuck Hagel (R-NE), and Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and Congressman Adam Smith (D-WA) today hailed the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s passage of the Global Poverty Act (S.2433), which requires the President to develop and implement a comprehensive policy to cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief, and coordination with the international community, businesses and NGOs. This legislation was introduced in December. Smith and Congressman Spencer Bachus (R-AL) sponsored the House version of the bill (H.R. 1302), which passed the House last September.

Barack has Written a total of 890 Bills and Co-sponsored Another 1096 since he started serving in the U.S. Senate.
And most vital of all, he brings a new style of governing. Just look at his "Republicans for Obama" program; few politicans would try and reach across the aisle genuinely believing they would find success. But Obama would.
He’s the messiah, the second coming! Everyone, we must vote for Obama!
[sarcasm]
Why is he vacationing in Hawaii during a campaign? It is this type of unfortunate choice that would make him a deplorable president. At least Hillary would have had enough sense to stick around.
By what standards would he be judged?
His economic thoughts are unsound. Most of what he proposes is a rehash of thoughts that have been tried before, depression and inflation being the end products.
If he gets us out of the empire business he would be an brilliant president, I don’t see that happening.
I used to believe that Obama would be better for peace than McCain. Ancient John seems just a small too keen on lobbing explosives into other sovereign nations.
But the more I thought about it the more I realized that wars rarely stem solely from the ambitions of the leaders. Huge wars require large numbers of people to have such a bleak outlook that they see war as their only alternative. A depression certainly provides that.
The concern I have with Obama is not what he desires to do, but what he will inadvertently do. If he pursues his economic thoughts, a depression will follow, and that could well lead to a large war.
I hope I’m incorrect.
Is the answer because he likes crack.
I believe he would make a excellent president first because he is not locked into a premillenial mindset. He will not make judgments on what he feels will bring about the apocalypse sooner.
The first thing he says he would do is undo all the Presidential orders that have been used to get around the will of the American people. I’m all for that!
He also has a plot to help provide health insurance to all Americans and to bring down costs both in the healthcare industry and the insurance industry.
He is able to see other countries as equal in importance to the US, rather than believing we are better and should have our way and everyone else be hanged! He can really talk to people and make them allies, instead of alienating them.
He does not have the desire to remove further freedoms from the American people by nominating neocon judges to the Supreme Court.
He is intelligent, which is vital to me, although the electorate seems to avoid it like the plague. I want someone who can grasp all the different facets of a problem instead of reacting only with warlike or threatening behavior.
In small, he is a person who has the ability to consider all points of view and try to get the thing done which works the best.
I don’t reckon he make Brilliant president, but i am sure better than any republican.right now this nation need person like Obama,i don’t like 100% Obama, but he is o k.i am Hillary supporter.last 8 year this nation don’t have any thing else be sides WAR news.people is getting tried and going crazy to deal with poor economy, which result of WAR.i don’t be live in war at all.i had no problem,if you take my all points.i am o k if it’s make you pleased.
I have learned through extensive research what Obama’s platform is.
We already know Obama’s vision (platform) for the future:
•Implement massive tax increases that punish hardworking American families in order to pay for new government bureaucracies;
•Government takeover of our health care system;
•Sit down for talks in his first year with tyrants like Cuba’s Castro and Iran’s Ahmadinejad without any preconditions; and,
•Raise the white flag of surrender in the war against radical Islamic extremism and cut off funding for our men and women in uniform.
solutions are:
What will change? Here are some specifics.
Education – - – - – - change
Foreign policy – - – change
Environment – - – - change
Taxes – - – - – - – - – change
Energy – - – - – - – - change
Supreme Court – - -change
Abortion – - – - – - – - change
Federal budget – - – change
Now how can you say his positions are lacking specifics?
Oh yes, inflate your tires.
I DONT!!!
NObama!!!
McCain 08!!!
He’d bring sexy back to the presidencamacy.
Nah, nah, nah, but seeriously, he has a whole bunch of change with him. Maybe even a few bucks.
Because he will ruin this country, that will guarantee a conservative candidate will be elected in 2012. then we can get it back on track.
These posts are dated today (Jan 29, 10) but they seem to be written prior to last years’ election seem some people bbelieve McCain will win.
In the last year Obama has shown himself to be a chameleon who can adopt the mindset of small powerless races butlacks any dstinctive character or convictions of his own mother state and superpower. He likes to spout eloquent barages of lefty-propaganda with borrowed inflections from MLK when it’s politic to do so, but his only real message to black Americans is that they pull up their socks and help each other out. (It takes a village to raise a child as the Grand Dame said, or quoted.)
The worst thing about Obama is that he can’t fight to save his life, or even defend his friends under attack. This poor schnook can’t stand his ground on anything, unless towards Democrat friend and supporter. He’s excellent at standing up to his friend, especially when doing it on the order to the hard right, who despise him.
The regressives say “boo” and Obama scurries away in terror and drops all parts of his plot that annoy his enemies. He backs away from the slightest challenge, turns tail and runs. Now he’s waiting keenly to see what the polls tell him to do. From here on he’ll be swinging from from crisis to another, faithfully following the directions of flipped out right-wing advisors who want him to fail.
