   She is an intelligent woman who speaks her mind about the racial divide that, as evidenced by YA, still hasn’t died out. I admire her for telling the truth….like Obama does. The only way to FIX a problem is to PUT WORDS to the problem. Besides, her comment has been taken out of context and twisted to mean something other than what it was intended to communicate.

   We’ll see how "proud" she is of the country when she realizes that in the General Election – so-called supporters will magically be whisked away to the McCain circles. Wait until the attacks really start to come – and they will.

   They will take Obama out to the cleaners, just like they did with Kerry.

   Michelle Obama will continue to live her own life, much in the way that Judy Dean would have if Howard Dean were to have become president. The days of the small first lady as a trophy wife are over….THANK GOD!

    You’re taking her message out of context. She’s even moe prouder now to see young voters interested in the political process. When was the last time we ever saw such a mass turnout and enthusiatism from the Democrat Party ?

    Plus, I reckon it’s a nice change of scenery to see a Black President away from the norm of ‘selecting the next White man.’

    With Obama, the sky the limit for America.

    "civilize" is an unnecessary word. she shows her right colors and should be right to herself if her husband is elected. being mired in a victim status is harmful and a psychological disorder. sounds like another two-fer deal for the democrats. Laura Bush is the best first lady we have had in a while and michelle is NO laura bush. A first lady ripping on America while in office is inconceivable and fortunately will not occur unless Bill is the new first lady, which should be his title anyways … since he goes after the "first lady" that he sees.

    There is a sad truth about many African-Americans. (And I am talking mostly about the achievers among them.) The fact is, there is an incredible amount of "poor me" even among those who have done extremely well in American society. If people like Michelle park their Mercedes under a tree and a bird poops on the windshield, the presumption is always going to be that somewhere a white male corporate executive placed that bird in position.
    You should start reading between the lines when you see a news tale. You will find that when an African-American wins at anything, the black intellectual community says, "It’s about time." When he loses, the word is always, "See, we told you that a black still cannot beat the system that was place in place by whites years ago."
    It’s a no-win for European-Americans to try to get that type of thinking under control. It just isn’t going to happen, mainly because the news media, the universities, and most politicians reward those kinds of conclusions.
    If Obama becomes president, expect it to get worse. Much worse. Then I’ll go around singing that ’60s hit: "I despise to say it but I told you so; Don’t mind my preaching to you…"
    People gush over Obama, and call him the next JFK. But Kennedy was an superb human being who suffered mightily during World War Two, even though his daddy’s money could have easily kept him out of combat. He chose the hard path, and finished up swimming a mile in shark-infested waters while dragging a wounded friend.
    Obama’s record of service and sacrifice for America couldn’t make a excellent wart on JFK’s butt, if you question me.
