Before the surge, he’s against the surge. After the surge, he’s for the surge. When he’s talking to AIPAC and evangelists, he’s pro-Israel. When he’s talking to Arabs, he supports Palestine.
He’ll swing whatever way the people listening want him to swing.
Robbing from the rich and giving to the poor is bad. Taxing the hell out of businesses is bad for Americans. His foreign policy? Laughable! He wants to talk it over and tell them exactly what he’s going to do to them ahead of time.
Reduce the taxes on 95% of the population so we have no money for small things like prisons, road/ bridge improvements, welfare, WIC, workers comp, social security. On foreign policy he will strip out the military payrolls (he has already suggested taking away the mandatory3.5% annual raise since it costs too much) to the point we have no abilities, and immediately create an environment where terrorists have the upper hand along with free reign. Other than that he would make a fine president, once he gets the required experience, and stops hanging out with known bombers, crooked real estate folks and the like.
He is a good candidate. He wants to lower taxes for 90% of Americans to provide relief for things like gas, food and other things. He also wants to expand accessability to health care. In terms of foreign policy, he wants to emphasize diplomacy more, although not excluding the military option as a last resort. McCain on the other hand wants to lower taxes for people making more than 250,000 dollars a year, the kind of people who doesn’t need it. He wants to use the military more unwisely, like support for the Iraq war, which Obama opposed from the start.
Well we saw what George Bush and the republicans policies were …thats right we had planes flying into buildings killing thousands…we had thousands stranded for over a week after Hurricane Katrina…I’m confident Obama’s policy will be a bit better.
He’s the better of the two. McCain is in denial about the costs of the war: yes with the billions spent, and devaluation of the dollar and problems with our economy, but also with foreign relations and our credibility. We can’t decide to invade other countries because we THINK they might have WMDs. It’s insane. We have WMDs – should people invade us? So our main focus should be straightening out the problems domestically because we’ve made a bloody mess with foreign policy. Obama cares about education, research, infrastructure, balancing the budget, etc.
Depends.

In Domestic Policy, Obama looks to change and strengthen the economy.
In Foreign Policy, Obama has plans to stop the war in Iraq, the genocide in Darfur, and the weapons of mass destruction.
