What do you think about 1st lady Michelle Obama’s fashion choices?
I keep hearing thаt Michelle Obama іѕ a fashion icon, i respectfully dissagree……i hаνе уеt tο see hеr іn anything worthy οf thе word "Fierce" ::haha thank уου Christian Soriano::…..i support hеr аnd Mу president barack, bυt i feel credit іѕ being given whеrе іt іѕ nοt due. If anyone саn ѕhοw mе аn outfit thаt іѕ borderline іnсrеdіblе, please leave a link, tеll mе whаt уου rесkοn аbουt thе topic. BTW i аm a fashion designer.

I reckon what ppl generally appreciate about her fashion choices is that she’s not worried to mix less expensive brands with designer names. She’s been rocking a lot of JCrew’s catalog and I reckon the "common" woman likes that. Personally, I thought the outfit Isabel Toledo designed for her was quite lacking. Fantastic color, but it didn’t really work out for Michelle’s frame. And I was rather surprised to see her choose the Jason Wu frock. I didn’t reckon it was age appropriate.
I have yet to come across a borderline incredible outfit/gown.
I reckon people should stop being superficial and not worry about her clothes.

i mostly agree with you, but i reckon that people today are obsessed with what people wear… and you know, if michelle doesn’t have a excellent fashion sense, so what? it’s her choice. granted, she could be more fashion forward, but if she thinks she looks excellent, so what? hope it helps! :]
Some people compare her style to Jackie Kennedy. I reckon her choices are excellent, no real fashion flops, but she dresses like a first lady should.

She dresses well for her body. Her clothes flatter her and are appropriate for a first lady. I agree its nothing incredible, but I don’t reckon a first lady should be fierce. Do you reckon Jackie O was fierce? Not really. But she was an icon for sure.

She really needs to find a designer who knows how to flatter a 6ft, 175 lb figure. She has regal dimensions, and a need to accentuate her attributes. Not place a spotlight on the faults.
