If Barack Obama cares so much about the military, why did he vote against funding troops in Iraq?
This is the primary reason why I will never vote for Barack Obama. His running mate Joe Biden did vote to fund the troops, but Barack Obama did not.
I don’t care about flag pins or if he remembers the name on his bracelet, I judge Barack Obama on his record.
He voted against getting soliders in Iraq the equipment they needed to pursue military actions.
I will be voting this November for John McCain.

It is John McCain who has voted against our Troops and Vets. It is John MCCain who has a D rating with Iraq and Afghanistan Vets; It is John McCain who has a 20% rating with Our Disabled Veterans of America; It is John McCain who openly threatens 2 countries–Russia and Iran–while our service members are fighting wars on 2 fronts, overdeployed, and under rested. It is John McCain who didn’t vote for the GI bill,; It is John McCain who says ‘there will be more wars in ‘other nations’ throughout the century’.
He didn’t vote against funding the troops in Iraq to be an asshole and keep soldiers from having food and clothing, he voted against contributing more money to the madness and against sending more young Americans to get hurt or die.

You have made your decision so why do you care about the opinions of others…but I will give you mine. I feel that the war in Iraq is and endless war and pointless as well. I want out soldiers back home where they are safe from terrorists.
I think that Obama’s decision is based on the government being in debt and not being able to afford to continue funding the war in Iraq and also wanting this war to be over.
Because the bill in question left the Iraq war open ended, rather than drawing up a specific timetable for forcing the Iraqi government to take charge of their own affairs. He supports funding for troops. Why has McCain voted against every single bill to increase funding for veterans, including the GI bill?
He voted against a bill that funded troops because it had a rider on it that he totally disagreed with and felt would do more harm than good so he asked for an amendment that would fund the troops but remove the rider.
Wow man you have to stop listening to hannity, rush, McCain propaganda and Fox news. Your right he was opposed to funding the troops with an Open blank Check and No conditions of With drawl. He is opposed to giving this administration money that cannot be accounted for. Do you know that most troops make enough money to qualify for welfare? Would you just send billions of dollars somewhere and hopes it just gets there or would you want some oversight. Obama didn’t support it because there was no oversight. So if that’s what you are blaming him for than that’s your right. I am voting for a president that believes in Oversight and Regulation, Instead of No Oversight and Deregulation. I hope you don’t Choke on that Apple!
Because he didn’t agree with cause! Obama isn’t against the military or our troops in Iraq!!! He is against using 10 billion dollars a month in Iraq! Instead we should be using the money wisely here in America, and start sending most our troops home.
