Could Barack Obama win the Election because of self-serving Republican Congressmen?
John McCain’s approval ratings have dived due to the failure of the Bailout and the larger economic crisis. With only 33% of Republican Congressmen voting for the bailout, Republicans have rightfully been given most of the blame for the Bailout’s failure. Many see the Republicans, and their policies, as responsible for the entire crisis.
So I guess my real question is: Could Barack Obama win simply because his opponent’s party is seen as having caused (or allowed) the current economic crisis?
Sure he can – typical case of cutting the nose off to spite the face.
actually everyone I know and have talked to thinks that the failure was the best thing that could have happend.
approval ratings? No, dear, that is for the president. I think you mean, the polls. And they have not taken a DIVE like you are saying. Actually today they went back up two points. Kerry and Gore were much further ahead in the polls right before the election. Barack has a very small lead. What do you think that means?
What economic crisis? The Bailout Bill failed and the market is up 4% looks to be rebounding well, a quick recoup. Even oil is up.
I think most of us are catching on to being conned.
Thank goodness Repubs had taxpayers backs, otherwise we’d be out $700 Billion.
Its sad but true. Since the Republicans are in power in the White House, and the Bail out Bill is there bill, McCain is going to lose everything even if the Bill is approve or not. The bad thing is that the Democrats like Pelosie is blame just as much as the Republicans the only true LOSER ar ethe American Tax payers!
Well the latest poll taken by Americans, voted in favor of the relief package failing. They are also praising the Republicans for listening to the American people. They know Obama was ready to sign on day one. So he could hide his involvement in the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Maybe that’s why he is being investigated, by the FBI. Americans are satisfied that it failed. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.
