Why is Obama using tax cuts to jump start the economy?

Didn’t Reagan and Bush both use extensive tax cuts to boost the economy at the beginning of both of their first terms?

I`m Barrack Obama, and it`s time for a change.
Isn`t it funny as soon as Barrack Obama has been elected their has been predictions of the world ending in 2012, just around the time, when his presidency could be up, but the course of his actions in the 4 years could be what is causes the world to end.
The Bush Administration gave Tax Cuts only to their very rich pals to the detriment of the working classes.
Obama wants to correct that injustice by giving Tax Cuts to the people who
did not receive them under Bush.
I think the theory is that two wrongs will make a right?!?
The tax issue should be more about economics than politics. The truth of the matter is that the more money that people have in their pockets (rich and poor alike), the more they are willing to spend. When people begin spending money, the economy becomes healthy and jobs are created. But this only works if the tax cuts are real. When the rich have a lot of money to spend, they obviously effect the economy more than a bunch of us who can barely afford gas in our cars. But the poor people need to be able to spend money too. So, an effective tax cut is one that allows everyone to keep more of what they’ve earned.
