Obama sending out more troops to Pakistan and Afghanistan?
Morning news headlines today (Mar. 28) tell us that President Obama is now sending more troops into Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is sounding like Pres. Bush these days, saying we have to wipe out those danger spots. I just happen to agree with him, but I am wondering how many disullusioned Democrats are there out in the populace. How about you?

Have you ever heard the expression opening a can of worms? George Bush opened a can of worm we might never be able to close. Just look at North Korea and Vietnam for example.
I think the he needs to lead the ground troops in combat.
I don’t believe we will be sending any troops into Pakistan. Not overtly, anyway. I think he is making a correct decision.

This is the only thing I agree with obama on is to put more troops there. The taliban is powerfull and wants all the infadels to die. Plus Bush was a pretty good president and obama hasnt done much but spend a bunch of your tax money. And why do you protest or disagree with bush about Iraq and then obama shows up and does the same thing and now u agree with him? the media has brain washed so many people. its sad
He is NOT sending troops into Pakistan; he is sending troops into Afghanistan to finish the job Bush began until he was sidetracked into Iraq to help Dick Cheney get richer thru Halliburton.
I am very opposed to war but glad I voted for Obama! He is doing exactly what he said he would do: Getting the troops out of Iraq and dealing with the Al-Queda and the Taliban where they live.
He doesn’t sound at all like King W….

i agree with sending more troops to afghanistan and withdrawing troops from iraq……we should’ve never sent troops to iraq while taking the ball of afghanistan …..i support war if the cause is just… afghanistan war is necessary to disrupt the taliban….
hes not sending troops to Pakistan, but if he does than he should forget about winning this war……US troops got no other supply line except the one that runs through Pakistan…….and if we go into Pakistan our thousands of troops will become siting ducks…….

Such type of actions can establish an imperialism, but would not solve the problems arising in this sub continent.
