How will Obama pay for escalating the war in Afghanistan and against Iran?
Biden indicated that the commanding general in Afghanistan wants a doubled force, and Biden strongly advocated for it. What plan does Obama have to DOUBLE our troop presence, and also fight Iran and Pakistan simultaneously while dealing with a massive deficit?
We have many more troops in Iraq than in Afghanistan. Obama will withdraw a good portion of our troops from Iraq. Some will return home, others will be moved to Afghanistan.
Obama never indicated that he will attack Iran, even less that he will strike Pakistan. The only thing that he said was that he will strike our enemies in Pakistan if Pakistani government would not do that for us.
As to the costs, Obama will make Iraqi government pay for some of the cost of the war in Iraq until our troops leave it for good.
To Jimmy T: Iraq does not GIVE us oil. Iraq sells its oil to the highest bidder. Recently, Iraqi government signed a huge contract with China, so it appears that we fight this war so that China can exploit Iraqi oil fields. When Iraqi oil gets sold to US companies, it may or may not end up in US. These companies are global and prefer to sell gasolene to the highest bidder, which appears to be European Union.
All depend on the situation.
If U.S. manage to redraw troops within 16 months, those soldiers can be deployed in Afghan. In parallel, U.S. should make peace with Iraq, Iran and Pakistan.
Of course, Iran situation is unacceptable but it can be resolve via peace action, as N.K.
I am sure Obama, will have a peaceful solution. We won’t be going to war, unless it is absolutely necessary. I am sure he will be reporting to us and it won’t be base on a lie.

I think Obama has the DUMBEST war plan ever. Think of Iraq does of us. They give us oil. W need oil. And plus if we leave Al-Qaeda can recruit more troops in Iraq.
Sounds like you’re pretty positive we are going to war in Iran and Pakistan, that’s ignorant. When we reduce spending in Iraq by putting the burden of handling the civil war that is going on in Iraq onto the Iraqi government where it belongs, we can focus financial efforts on fighting real terrorism in other countries.
He won’t be making that decision. It may be a moot point when he is declared ineligible to run for POTUS in the next several weeks. The mainstream media isn’t reporting this but he is stalling on the Phil Berg lawsuit. Berg is asking the court to verify that he is indeed a natural born citizen. If Obama is who he says he is, why can’t he just produce the birth certificate to the court? Why is he and the DNC investing huge amounts of time writing motions to dismiss and motions to protect them from "discovery"? It would be a lot easier to JUST SHOW WHAT YOU’VE GOT!! Obama has shown and posted the OFFICIAL birth certificate of Hawaii, which is the only one that Hawaii now sends out. The facts on it, that he was born in Hawaii, were twice confirmed by the officials in Hawaii (members of a Republican governor’s administration).
As for the lawsuits. There hasn’t been a lawsuit against Obama that simply asked him to show his birth certificate. All the lawsuits before the election (which were about 3/4 of the cases) were about stopping the election. Most of the lawsuits after the election were about stopping the certification of the election or stopping the Inauguration.
The remaining cases ask for many things including his kindergarten records and his academic records and his housing records while he was at college. Since no one has a right to see those documents, which are protected by privacy laws, Obama is fighting to preserve the right of future presidents to keep such records secret. In any case, he has every right to fight lawsuits, and the lawsuits he is fighting are not primarily about his birth certificate. In fact, virtually none of them asked that Obama show his birth certificate to the court.
He HAS shown his birth certificate. The document that he posted and showed to FactCheck and Polifact is the official birth certificate. No president has ever shown a birth certificate before.
