Why is Sarah Palin more popular with cons than say Newt Gingrich?
What is it that makes conservatives prefer a simple minded person with less experience to a well seasoned intelligent Republican to stand at the head of their party?

They don’t like people who don’t say “Gee Golly” or “You Betcha.”
But they should love Newt. He is just as uninformed as Palin is about the economy and Nation Security.
Because tea partyers say good looks are the real test for leadership.

Especially that the stimulus package of 787 billion dollars, if passed in a hurry, the unemployment rate will NEVER, NEVER, EVER, go over 8%. Last I heard, the unemployment rate was over 10% and that the rate of those who have given up looking for the work was hovering around 17%.
THEN his Cap and tax bill crashed and burned
THEN he lost elections in Virginia and New Jersey after numerous personal appearances to the cheering of adoring throngs shouting Messiah, Messiah, Messiah.
THEN Ted Kennedy’s seat turned into THE PEOPLE’S SEAT on that horrible, horrible rainy, snowy, Wednesday. Oh, the horror of it all.
