Why is it acceptable for Republicans to Flip Flop on Issues? Like Newt Gingrich did on Libya?
Newt has changed his position on how Obama was wrong for doing what he did twice, so the second time he said he should have done what he did wrong the first time. Why does that not matter to republicans?
Mainly because Republicans are smarter and know when to make changes in opinion and process. Just a quick, short answer for you.

You mean like how the GOP is claiming that it’s wrong to require people to have to buy private health insurance, but back when the Clinton Administration proposed a single payer system, the GOP said that Americans should be required to purchase private heath insurance? That kind of flip flop?

They know the American public has a short attention span and will forget they had another stance on the issue. What ever the Prez says, they say the opposite.
Better example. Obama the “peace candidate”. Gitmo is still open, We still have 50,000 troops in Iraq, Expanded war in Afghanistan, and now a new conflict in Libya without a resolution from Congress. I wasn’t aware that the UN superseded Congressional authority. there is the REAL flip flopper.
