Why are Newt Gingrich and Pat Robertson saying we need to reduce greenhouse gases and global warming?
Don’t they realize that the official Republican position is that there is no such thing as global warming? Or are Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and their followers the only ones who are still in denial, considering George Bush also says we need to reduce greenhouse gases?
They want the nation to look for alternative fuels besides relying on terrorist states for our fuel.
They can only deny the facts for so long.
That position was hurting the party.
They might as well have been saying the earth is flat.

everyone wants a part of the hoax known as global warming.
The Republicans have a new theory about how many big lies they can propogate at a time… right now it’s currently set at 10, so they had to come clean about global warming… next on the possible chopping block: That there were WMDs in Iraq, that Iraq and Al-Qaeda work together, than Iran probably is making nukes right now and we should attack them, that Evolution is simply a theory and probably not right, and that the mission has been accomplished in Iraq.
Shouldn’t it be obvious that anything Pat Robertson and President Bush support is a complete scam.

Because they all work for the Council on Foreign Relations. Global Warming is the latest “catastrophe” that our politicians are going to save us from. Does anyone remember the new Ice Age we were going into twenty five years ago? Or how about Y2K? Remember, all the computers were going to blow up.
Millions of Americans are willing to give up their freedom for the supposed security our politicians are offering with their “Patriot Act”, “Military Commissions Act”‘ “Protect America Act”‘ as well as spying on the American people.
Are you ready to give up your freedom for their security? I’m not. No real American would trade freedom for security. Our politicians, and their prostitute scientists have been lying to us for decades. Why would you believe them now?
Because we need to. You have it all wrong. Republicans do believe there is global warming. They just disagree with you on the cause of climate change. Is it caused by man-made emissions, or cyclical change caused by the elliptical orbit around the sun? Or is it caused by the increase in sun spots and solar winds? Most republicans feel that man-made emissions have little to do with global warming. Democrats feel that man-made emissions are the principal reason for climate change.
It’s not the Republican position that there is no such thing as global warming. It was the Bush position because he didn’t want to deal with the problem, and the rest of the idiots you describe are fools and lemmings.
