he cheated on his cancer-stricken wife at the same time he was railing against Clinton and demanding that we spend millions of dollars investigating it
Being divorced does not disqualify someone from being able to run for the presidency. Several presidents elected has had side affairs so it’s no big deal.
Honestly, Gingrich’s married life is the least of the problems I have with him running for president.
I’m more worried about his comments about Muslims and Islam which either paints him as a hate-monger willing to throw away the US Constitution OR as someone willing to say ANYTHING just to get the votes of a dangerously fundamentalist minority.
Neither alternative describes someone I think should be in the White House at all, let alone as President.
In today’s society divorce is common. If that is the only thing he is guilty of he will be elected in a landslide. The perception that our government officials should all be lilly white is absurd. Our representatives are made of of people that come from the general population. We should all focus more on policies and ideas.
He thinks people forget how he was screwing his second wife while still married to his cancer stricken first wife. He was screwing his third wife while still married to his second wife. Now he want to run on family values and claims to be a good Christian. Newt give a break no way are you going to change the White House into the Whore House
Nobody cares about divorce. They care about the hypocrisy of wasting taxpayer dollars to impeach Bill Clinton for adultery when he was cheating on his cancer stricken wife.
Divorce wouldn’t even be a problem in the Republican primary, but the cheating would hurt him. It wouldn’t matter as much (but it would still matter a little) in the Democratic primary. We generally believe that we should stay out of our politicians bedrooms and they should stay out of ours. Hypocrisy is another matter entirely.
he is from the Clinton era.
John Kerry was divorced, and Obama is married to a sasquatch and is a poll smoker
he cheated on his cancer-stricken wife at the same time he was railing against Clinton and demanding that we spend millions of dollars investigating it
While his first wife was in chemo for cancer, he divorced her to marry his girlfriend.
When his second wife thought he was being faithful, he was cheating on her with wife #3.
All the time trying to get Bill Clinton censured for cheating on his wife.
Go figure….

Reagan was divorced but there are plenty of other reasons why Newt shouldn’t be prestdent.

Kerry was divorced he ran, Clinton wasn’t divorced but had a sting of mistresses, marital status has nothing to do with qualifications
Dude.
Area 51… k?

See, the probe-fessionals have a way of multiplying a negative with a negative and getting a positive. Even A&M is scratching its collective head.
All the while, divorcification has become electable. Meaning? Any scumball-squirt can become a politician and haunt us and taunt us, ad nauseum.
